Hi everybody, I started pole dancing in October 2008 and began teaching classes by the end of that month. In April 2009, I participated in a Sex Show to promote pole dancing for fitness. Thanks ladies! The experience was terrifying; seen by my super sweaty hands. As an ex-semi-pro ballerina I love the exhilaration of performance; however, the pole and it's positioning weren't what I had expected. Due to other performances after me, the pole's 4' x 4' platform was placed at the very front of the stage and the pole was held down by a few sand bags under the platform. As you can imagine, I was terrified of slipping off the shaky pole and/or falling off the stage.
I can only imagine how scary that was! But you smiled the whole time and looked like you weren't scared to death, LOL. Good job!

web you looked beautiful 🙂 ive been on a pole like that before, where its on a tiny stage and the poles held up by sandbags, it's scary!!! you did incredible for your first public performance!!! 🥂
