Moving in 3 days and pole is stuck

Hi everyone! I am moving in 3 days and my pole is stuck together. Anyone have advice ? It is the original X Pole, and it seems the two main pole pieces are solidly stuck together. How do i get them apart? I used both the adjustor rods, but they actually bent when using them to release the main poles. I do not own the release tools, and my main computer us packed away so it's hard to use the search function here through my phone browser. Please help, thanks!

😀 hi when i moved the same thing happend i just stuck it threw my sunroof!!

I highly recomend buying the release tools. They are freaking AMAZING!!! I was shocked at how well they work. Can you move it with it being intact? If so, then just do that and order some release tools and use them to take your pole apart after they arrive.

Oh don't worry, this is a common problem. This happened to me too but I just took everything off, i.e. dome & all extensions. I left the 2 main parts together and they fit lengthways in my car. (its about the length from the front passenger foot space to the back seat.) Or check out Charley's suggestions! 😉
