Moderators? (even necessary??)

I'm asking this more out of curiosity than a suggestion, and I'm hoping I'm not offending anyone or anything, but... Are there any plans for having moderators for the forums, other than Veena and Webmaster? 😕 I do want to say that this has been a very "well-behaved" site and at this time really doesn't need any mods. I've only ever seen 2 locked threads! Also this site is very lax about repeat posts and some threads that get rather "off-topic", which makes for a great, accepting atmosphere (although the repeat threads do kinda get annoying at times, I do have to admit...) Also props to Webmaster for being on top of "problems" on the site: I sent him an email about a "user" that was spamming the site with some, um, "inappropriate" material and it was taken care of right away. Please understand I'm only asking out of sheer curiosity... the site is growing very fast and has lots and lots of new posts and users every day. It's also understandable if Veena and Webmaster want to keep any and all control of the site just between the two of them. 😉

lol, I love what you said about webmaster's posts because it's so true and for me, so appreciated! I love people who are direct in their answers 🙂

I hope I don't scare anyone 😀 I'm really just a big softy (especially around the middle, just ask Veena). I will simply say we have plans for alot of things in the future. Each feature comes in its own time and to fill a particular need. We want to avoid doing something just because we can, and instead do it because its the right time. You guys are a great community, and I love seeing how much you care for each other even though we are separated by, in some cases, thousands of miles. You are truly a great group of people and I am proud to be your Webmaster.

Veena didn't want to marry Webmaster but he forced her to! 😮 Together as a team, we need to help Veena out of that marriage! Nah... I think Webby is just one of those teddy bears with a squeaky toy inside. If someone provokes him, he'll make a squeak. Squeak squeak squeak! I just want to say to Webby and Veena, thanks so much for your work on this website. The recent changes you guys have made are excellent. I love the new hi definition videos and blogs!

Like I said, this forum is surprisingly well-behaved so I can see why it wouldn't be a need right now. I was just curious if the thought was out there, like I said. I've been on 2 other forums, and they both had several mods and were constantly moving posts, locking threads, and jumping all over people for swearing, posting in the wrong places, doing a repeat thread, and double posting. Here it's much more open and laid back... Very refreshing. 🙂 And yes I'm sure the Webmaster is very much a big teddy bear, he's just hiding behind some very upfront and straightforward answers to questions. 😜

I have to jump in and say I'm not surprised at all!! Our members here are WONDERFUL and SUPPORTIVE of each other, always have been, no doubt, always will. I have no problem with having repeat post 👍 😀 That's how you know your always getting new people 🥂 🥂 I don't find it annoying at all, new people are welcome to ask what ever their little hearts need to know. I find it very arrogant when I'm on a forum, and a poster happens to post something that has already been addressed, and all the regulars get testy and tell the poor person "that's already been asked". 🙁 My regulars are FANTASTIC about helping out anyone who posts even if its a repeat, they give advice and let them know of other threads that might be of more help without being condescending. 🥂 Thanks guys 😀

I like repeat posts because I have seen the answers from the pros so much I can answer as if I know what I'm talking about. But I don't! 😛 Get it?! 😀 I don't know! 🤔

I find it very arrogant when I'm on a forum, and a poster happens to post something that has already been addressed, and all the regulars get testy and tell the poor person "that's already been asked". 🙁 My regulars are FANTASTIC about helping out anyone who posts even if its a repeat, they give advice and let them know of other threads that might be of more help without being condescending. 🥂 Thanks guys 😀 I agree, thats just awful when I see that! Its so unwelcoming to jump all over a person because of something silly like a repeat post. It turns me off to a lot of Forums, people who have been around a long time get all high & mighty and have an attitude with the "newbies". Its SOOO nice not have that here! 🥂 🥂 Its so great to be in a place thats welcoming and supportive and gives criticism in the RIGHT way. I hope everyone gets as much enjoyment out of this place as I do. 👍 👍
