Ewwww. It's gonna be at lizard lounge! I used to go there before I grew breasts! 🙁 Well. Actually I always had breasts. Maybe the more accurate statement is before I had any damned sense!
i know amcut! i thought the same thing when i heard it was going to be at Lizard Lounge! Im super excited that your going!! did you ever submit a video?? The deadline for submissions was extended to September 7! I submitted my video the other day, im nervousssss =S
The amateur level doesn't have to have a video -- just moola! =) I signed up. WOO HOO! It's the Friday after my 35th birthday, so I figured WHAT THE HECK!! I can't wait to see you guys! We definitely need to do a StudioVeena meet up sometime during the event! I laughed about the Lizard Lounge, too, but hey, it's not a strip club! Does anyone know if they have their pole up all the time, or just use it for special events? Mindy

Ooo! I didn't know they had extended! WELL THEN. No excuses, right? I'll just ask my nearly empty wallet what it thinks. 😉 I'm pretty sure Lizard Lounge doesn't keep their pole up, but I am from a different age of LL, so who knows. LOL Do alllll of the texas girls know about this? And YES. Can't wait! Texas! Jam! SV meetup! Exciting!
Liz Lounge has a pole (with railing around it) for the gogo dancers but the pole we will be on is a 25 foot xpole (provided by Vertical Fitness) which is going onto the main stage =) Aaaanddd hopefullyyy, we may get to see a special performance from the one and only David aka Stellarmotion!!! Fingers crossed fingers crossed fingers crossed 😀 Yay SV pow wow! I think there are going to be some workshops before/after the competition??

Have all the categories filled up yet? Im thinking of entering the fitness division... Would I need to send a video in for this division? voodoochild- your gonna do great! the one time i seen you play around i thought you were really good and you seemed to be very advanced with your moves! Mindy- glad to know you signed up! your gonna do great also! with all the showing off in class you do, i know your going to do fabulous!!

I'm interested in performing, but paying $75 to enter and maybe get picked is not really worth it.. Plus I have to drive 4 hours to get to the competition and find a place to stay after it's done. If I win I would be awesome, that's $500! But the 2nd place is only $100, and after spending $75 to enter I would only be winning $25. Eh.. it's a tough decision. Does anyone know how many have signed up for the main Pole Star division?
If you send in a vid Sarah youre considered in. For the ultimate division there are about 7-8 applicants last time i heard. $75 is pretty steep but it will be alot of exposure and a whole lotta fun! I hope you decided to do it 🤸

Miss Texas Pole Star was Awesome! It was soooo much fun! It was great meeting all of you ladies. Big congrats to Mindy who won the amateur category!!! And congrats to any of the other winners if you are on here!! It was in a large nightclub and I perform better in that "club" environment! I love the music pumping, we had a super sold out crowd of over 500 people, NFL Housewives cast was there, VH1, and it felt more like a showcase vs. a competition. Can't all competitions be held in nightclub now? LOL. I just love performing in that environment. I was very happy with my performance! The crowd was really hype and all of the competitors were so super nice. I think we were all just so happy to be around pole enthusiasts! I loved every moment!!! Everything truly is bigger in Texas...Ha! Ha! I am so glad the middle/south of the country is finally getting some prescence in the pole community 🙂

Congratulations to Mindy for winning the amateur division!!! It really was more like a pole show rather than a competition. I really liked the venue, what a cool old building! Everyone did really great 🥂
Yea! What an amazing and fun experience! It was such a pleasure to meet all of the competitors and to be around so many pole enthusiasts! HUGE congratulations to Mindy for winning the amateur division! and to Sarah for getting runner up in the ultimate division!!! Congrats to all the winners! I cant wait until next year!!! GO TEXAS!!! 🥂 🥂 🥂
