Mighty Grip Knee Pads

I just ordered these today - does anyone have any experience with these? I got them for floor work but they are open in the back and have tack strips so you can still grip the pole. I searched posts about knee pads here and I know a lot of people were saying you shouldn't need them if your technique is correct, but I don't care - my hardwood floors hurt my knees. Anyway, I don't think these have been out too long...any reviews?

I have been having serious knee problems for about a year so I purchased these knee pads. I had been using regular knee braces, but they made it difficult to do a lot of moves. The Mighty Grip knee pads are open in the back so knee spins, or any tricks where you need to grip with the back of the knees is still feasible. The vinyl grips on them still allows you to be able to climb, invert etc...but they are inhibitive in some cases when you need the ability to slide your leg into certain positions. Nevertheless, they've been the best alternative i've found so far to be able to continue to dance and do tricks while helping to prevent further injury to my knees.

I LOVE my Mighty Grip knee pads! I use them all the time for floorwork and for stretching for my splits. Even if you're practicing "proper technique", I still would recommend knee pads. Knees sustain a lot of impact from every day regular activity and are prone to injuries from sports/fitness activities. It's better to protect them now then have to deal with issues down the road as a result of failing to protect that area. I ordered the medium size and I feel like mine were a little tight at first but now I'm used to them. The only move that is hindered when wearing these on the pole is the knee hold move as the bottom knee gets no grip and will slide you right off the pole. Overall these are some of my favorite pole must have items.
