Mighty Grip Gloves Question

I'm thinking I will give these a whirl next in my neverending war against my sweaty hands. I've tried several different grip aids but seem to sweat through most of them within just a few minutes, so I'm starting to look at different glove options. Out of those of you who have a pair of the Mighty Grip gloves, which do you think are better; the ones with tack or the gloves without? I know you can't spin with the tacky ones, and I'd rather not sacrifice that option, but if the no tack ones grip a lot less, I'd rather get the grippier ones.

Here I am bumping this thread again... I've been playing email tag with Joel from Mighty Grip - giving him feedback, being nosy about other things that they're working on (something I suggested that they make is something that they already thought of and have on the drawing board as far as a new product goes, so I'm looking forward to that!). Along with telling me that they have made a new kind of velcro wrist closure that should hold the glove on better, he told me that they actually have two different manufacturers making the gloves and the gloves from one of them tend to run smaller than the other. The gloves come in either a cellophane package or a two-tone plastic one (clear on the front, solid on the back) - the ones that come in the two-tone run smaller. I believe that may be the answer to our mystery to why some of us have seemingly shorter gloves than others. I'm going to be trying out a pair with the new velcro closure on them, so I'll let you guys know how I like them. 🙂

Ooh, when are the new gloves with the new closure on them coming out? I'd be interested in picking up a pair too.

I don't know, exactly... but I can't wait. I wonder if they'll put something up on the website??? 🤔

I would imagine they'd post something once the new products are available, so I'll have to keep an eye out on that. Maybe you'll receive an e-mail update or something, since you've expressed interest personally to them. If anyone spots something on them, let us all know! I'm sure there are at least a couple other people on here who would be interested in them.

Alrighty ladies, maybe this is a silly question, but are the tack gloves sold as a set or individually? i assume as a set, but I wanted to ask someone before I ordered them.. I have a pair of black vinyl boots and love being able to have a better grip when trying new tricks, so I'm really hoping the gloves will keep me from sliding! The weather changes here in St Louis are messing with my hands and it's driving me nuts! Some days I'm the spin queen, and other days I can't hold on for my life!

They come as a set! I think they are GREAT! You might want to order a bottle of mighty grip with them though because I found my hands did sweat A LOT ans you will slip around in the gloves - so you'll need some grip aid under them. These are one of my all time favorite pole products! 🥂

I tried on a friends non tack size small that fit ok (the left glove seemed smaller that the right?!?) 2) have you had issues with holes or seems ripping? (my friends gloves already had 2 holes near the fingers after only a months use!) 3) does anyone know if/when they are making new gloves? Thought I recalled reading something about a new product? Conversely, has anyone here made their own gloves? I know a good tailor and I wonder if I could have vinyl pads sewn into a pair of fingerless gloves of my choice?

Thought I recalled reading something about a new product? 1) There are 2 different manufacturers for the gloves and one company makes them slightly smaller than the other. Try a pair of smalls and if they don't fit, feel free to email Joel at MG (there's a contact form on the website) and let him know. He can help you and swap out for ones that will fit. 2) There have been some problems in the past with some splitting but he has added extra stitching in known problem areas. If your gloves are damaged before their time, Joel will send you a new pair. Also, he LOVES feedback - so email him with any problems and he can look into making some changes to avoid problems in the future. 3) New gloves are in the works but I don't know how much I should be saying about them so I won't say anything unless Joel gives me the go-ahead 😉 You might also be referring to a different product than I am, so... 🤐

Does anyone have problems with the gloves cutting up their legs? I use my tacky mighty grip gloves for inversions and find that the Velcro cuts up my inner thighs. I've given up on using them for the most part because I have large scabbed welts all over my legs after I use them for inversions. 🙁

SOOOO CONFUSED, I need help, Can anyone bottom line and tell me what to order, I'd like to be able do spins w/ them as well.

Pink33 - get the non-tack if you want to still be able to do spins. The gloves may bunch up a bit when you do spin with them, just to warn you. 🙂 Make sure they're on nice and tight. MG has the fingerless gloves and they also just came out with a full-fingered version. I'd start with the fingerless.
