made the best video!

Okay so I have been trying to make a video for awhile but whenever I turn the camera on I forget all my moves lol! It's not like people are watching me or anything! So last night I tell myself I am going to do it. My kids were upstairs so no little feet running in while I am in an invert and have to hold myself there while I am sweating bullets so I don't fall down on my one year old. I start out telling him- honey move out of the way and then it turns to MOOOOOOOVE!!!!!!! Okay so back to the video. Kids are out of the way I just burned my favorite song and I am ready to go... So I start dancing and I am like good this is going okay 🥂 I was trying to do things without thinking cause on my other video I was like 🤔 thinking and you could tell. So after 5 minutes of straight dancing and the best video so far that I believe I made I get all excited that I did it and go to watch it. Well. my batteries died before I even started!!!!!!!!!! 😈 Whatever! One day I will get it lol! To make it worse my dh comes down as I am working on the sholder mount (can't get it for the life of me) and of corse he nails it!! Now I feel the pain of the other gal who wrote about this! I was going to try a new vid today but I am too sore from busting out all those moves last night LOL!!!

Hi! I just made my first video today and I totally blanked too! All my moves went outta my head and I was like, why does that happen to me? Its not like anyone is watching and I can edit it soo...? But I am glad to hear I am not alone (and it might go away with practice?). My bf does that too...he is all upper body strength. So I never let him near the pole anymore til I can show him the move- he progresses faster than me it seems *but he always forgets to point his toes lol!!* Dani

Staaage fright! I totally do that. I'll also soon be working on a video (not that I can invert or anything) but I know the feeling. I've tried recording myself before, and just do a move, and then blank out and go check the settings on the camera...and see myself on the pole and go "Ugh! Who'd want to see that?" And then I end up just scrapping it. I have some bad body image... Also, men have some pretty amazing upper body strength. I have some friends come over once a week or so, and the guy can do inversions and stuff that I've never even attempted, because I know I can't do it! We've also got the hips, which they don't, and all that bone and muscle is HEAVY! So, don't feel disappointed, you can do it in time!

I'm so baaad!!! I have a hard time just watching in the mirror and so chicken I posted a vid of my daughter spinning instead of me, she is the cute one and will probably pass me up lol. I'm starting with pictures not as uncomfortable with that so maybe thats where to start with some nice pictures of moves first woek up to video at least thats what I'm trying. I was always the girl behind the curtian not the performer, so its hard to get used to being center of attention. We will get there!!!! Good luck and Happy Poling 😀

awwww!!!! hunnie im so sorry, how frustrating!!!!!!! im the same way too though, as soon as that camera is on i completely blank. i bet soon though everyone of you will make an INCREDIBLE video 🙂 and i cant wait to see them!

Aw that suck! But look at this this way. Now you know you can make a kick a$$ video so you can make an even better one when the batteries aren't dead. 💣

Thanks everyone for letting me know I am not alone. I did make another vid but nothing like the first one! I just dance and right as I turn away from the camera I think of the next move. I even tried writing the moves down on paper on the floor but I still blanked out lol! One day I will get a good one 🙂
