The lyra will not need anything else to work. It attaches like the xpole insert. Thanks Dorian

The lollipop Lyra attaches right to the xpole, it's cannot be used off the pole as a Lyra, just to be clear. The weight (hollow or not) will not matter because it's on the pole. I talked with some circus performers at a gig I recently did and they agreed that using the second half of the stage pole seems risky as far as stability is concerned. Also placing the pole on spin with the lolly attached isn't a neat as you might think because once you move up on the the Lyra half the spin quickly fads, and if you use all of the pole to full height spin stops even sooner. If you want to spin you'll need to stay on the outside of the apparatus and use it with have the stage pole. As far as Lyra (without the pole) goes, heavier will spin longer or so I've been told. I have a solid Lyra and have yet to use a hollow, I was suppose to relieve a hollow but never did. 😐

Oh also, you can't insert the lolly into the top piece of the xstage because it's capped and you can't just pull the cap off....so to use it at higher than half would require you to purchase a tall extension instead. So things to know! I really enjoy my lollipop even if it's not super high!
Good to know!! Thank you Veena and Dorian for your help :-)
Your welcome.
Oh also till the end of the month there is a promotion code #Decemberlyragrab that's good for 15% off. Dorian
O awesome!!!! 😃
I can't speak on the lollipop lyra, but Dorian made my studio 2 double point lyra and the quality of these pieces are AMAZING! I hope we can add the lollipop to our arsenal of aerial equipment in 2016!

The lollipop's are made to fit in the xpole stages.
Mine is finally done. I use it on the bottom half of my r pole. It just about fits in my house but can't wait to try it outside once the weather is better 😊
