I use a lil' mynx black rotator pole and I absolutely LOVE it. While shopping for poles, I choose lil' mynx because I didn't want the standard stainless steel pole and since I was using this as my beginner pole I knew that I would need something that wasn't as slippery. The color coating on the lil' mynx colored poles allow better grip. 👍 I've attached an image above of the mouting device for this particular pole. The little hook is actually not functional and serves as a decorative piece when you remove your pole. It simply looks like a plant hook. The lil' mynx pole was delivered to me in 1 piece- yes the shipping box was the entire pole. LOL. 😂 At the top of the pole there is a piece that turns which allows you to slide the pole over the ceiling mount. The piece then turns and extends the length of the pole which locks the pole into place. This pole is very easy to dismount. It does however require standing on a stool when installing or taking down. It slides easily into a closet or along a wall for hiding- given you have an area you are able to place the full length of the pole in for hiding. For vaulted/cathedral ceilings lil' mynx also sells an extension piece. As for the amount of ceiling damage if you have plaster ceilings, it was very minimal for me. I noticed the tighter and sturdier my pole was, I was less likely to have any ceiling damage. When I moved out of my apartment, it was easy to patch up the cieling with some cheap putty. I was just browsing through their website and found they also now sell mats with their poles as well. I hope this helped answer some questions you all may have had. ☀️

You had to stand on a stool for yours? Wierd, I never did. I just kept it at the proper length and stuck it up standing on the ground.

I twist the top piece down so I have enough to slide it away from the ceiling mount. I have carpet too which makes it hard to slide right out of place. Plus I'm probably a clutz and would bang everything around trying to make a smooth transition if I didn't give myself more than enough room. 😂

I love my lil mynx as well. I have a vaulted ceiling and had to buy the special mount for it. I don't think anyone else carries something for vaulted ceilings. I never had to stand on a stool to install it either. One I twisted it for the length I needed it to be I can easily push it into the mount and slide the bottom (i have carpet as well) into place. It is so easy to mount and dismount. I used the mount that came free with it outside on my patio so I can use it out there as well.

Yeah, I had carpet too but had to lift up as well as slide in so the little rubber feet wouldn't pop off. It did take a bit of coordinating though. Had to make sure no one was walking by so I wouldn't accidentally beam the with the pole. I think they are the only ones with vaulted ceiling stuff which is awesome. My only complaint is my new place is a few inches shy of 8ft so I had to sell it and get an x-pole. Which is fine too and it went to a good home but still.

I also have a Lil Mynx, and I love it too. 😀 So easy to put up and take down, it literally takes me one minute to take it down and "hide" it under the couch if the need arises. It definitely has a better grip then the stainless steel poles, which is better for holds and tricks, but a little harder for spins. It's a very sturdy pole, I've had mine for a year and a half with no problems.

I also have a Lil Mynx, it's PINK! I absolutely LOVE IT!!! If I have to take it down it comes down in seconds and goes back up just as easily, the most time is in making sure it's plumb. I have used it on hardwood floors as well as carpet. If you have hard floors there is a little round rubber pad that you can buy to put under it so it doesn't damage the flooring. When I take my pole down I leave the adjustable part at the correct length so I don't have to monkey with it later. It uses a compression system inside to keep it tight to the mount on the ceiling. When I put it up I slide it over the mount and slowly bring the bottom to where it is supposed to be. If you have it adjusted to fit snug you will have to use engage all of your major muscles to compress the spring system in side to get the pole to move over the carpet and into place. I'm not sure that that made sense 😉 Maybe one of these days I will make a vid of me putting it up so everyone can see how easy it is.

I love my lil mynx as well!!! Alot of poeple I talk to dont like them becasue they think they are slippery, but I stick way better to mine than the stainless ones!! There is one thing, that you cant use alcohol to clean it (if you get the powder coated color ones) like many stainless, but I found that if you wipe it down with a wet wash cloth and dry it off with a dry one, you stick like glue!!!! I reccomend the lil mynx to any pole dancer!!! 🙂 😀

Doesn't smell fantastic, but it works great (and it's eco-friendly 😀 ).

Hello girls! I just went looking for some info on Lil mynx poles. I want a pink spinner. 🤸 I was wondering, is it ok to clean them w windex like I do my xpole? Also, are they really less sticky??? That could be a problem. Please let me know what you think if you have a colored rotator from them! Thanks Girls!!!!

I also have a hot pink pole. Wondering why you cannot clean it with alcohol?? This is what I have used since day 1 without issue. I will say that during the summer I have ended up with some pretty nasty pole burn because the powder coat can get too sticky, but this time of the year it ROCKS.

My friend has an xpole, and I have found that my lil mynx is actually stickier than her stainless steel xpole. In general, the powder colored poles are stickier than stainless steel poles. The alcohol breaks down the finish of the powder-coating. That is why they advise against it. We used to use alcohol at the studio but have switched to windex when we learned that.

Lord, makes me wish I'd bought a powder-coated LM when I started. Instead, I got one of their stainless models, which is a pain in the ass. 🙂 However, I will say that it has never budged at all and, once in a blue moon, when I do take it down, it comes off and goes up quickly.
