LiveOnce are the poles at your studio powder coated? The studio I have attended has lil mynx stainless steel poles and they have wonderful grip. But the stainless steel pole I purchased for my home is so slippery! And I've had it for several years. As a matter of fact I've never been able to really use it because of this. :( I think I'm going to hve it powder coated.
They are stainless steel
I don't know what it is, but something is different about the poles they sell to studios vs their home stainless steel poles.
They are the same poles.
I think they sell the same poles to both...it's probably the climate or environment. I sometimes (very rarely) use acetone on my pole to give it a deep clean.. Maybe it has a little residue on it from something. When it's dry and cold I use a streamer...it adds moisture and warms up the pole.
LiveOnce: Before selling and buying new contact Randy. For some reason I was lead to believe that you could change your statics to rotators with a few simple parts.
