By the way, I think I should let others know not to go "too hard" with poling and training. I do comps/showcases all yr and pole 3-6x a week. I have a 19 mo old and pre baby I went to the gym 3x a week and poled 3-6x a week. So I was adding back in my gym mix to the pole and I overdid it:( The doc said I tried to do too much too quick. So my advice is to go back slow. I thought I was goin slow but obviously not slow enough. I went into the sauna one day and I could tell it relaxed me so I went and did extra abdominal. I know that was the day that did it.

I had an umbilical hernia from pole. I had surgery February 15th and was medically released to return to slow progressive activities in the beginning of April. I still have tenderness issues in the area so I avoid moves that grab my navel area.
