As we all know, Michael Jackson died June 25th 😢 He was a fantastic artist and was the king 👑 of pop and dance. So the July Challenge is...celebrate the life of Michael Jackson, he will never be forgotten. 😢

Awesome! We can't forget about all the other people that passed away recently... Farrah Fawcett, that NFL player (sorry I don't follow it that much), that TV host dude... I'm actually thinking of doing something to one of the Jackson 5 hits or maybe some really late MJ and mixing in the Charley's Angels theme. 😀 I keep on saying that I miss the good ol' days of MJ.

So, I can't decide between his remake of Come Together, which I love, but since it's not one of his songs I kinda feel like I'm cheating...or Give into Me which is also a great song and his song... idk...I'm so indecisive!!

Oh man! This is definately my challenge! 🥂 Im making it a point to get my pole THIS month to be sure I can do this!!! I would love to do Give in to me, Dirty Diana or smooth criminal, shoot, anyone of his songs are good, lol! I cant pick just one!!! 😂

I'm trying to decide between Billie Jean and Smooth Criminal. I'm so stoked! Those are the two I was deciding between, too! I'm pretty certain I'm doing Smooth Criminal, though. It's always been my favorite.
So I have decided to put in the Charlie's Angels theme in the beginning of my video (it is only 1 minute anyways). Just as a tribute to Farrah Fawcett because even though I'm not old enough to have watched her on TV she was such an icon. Even my mom sported that wispy feathery 'do in the 70s. Then I'm going old skool MJ with "ABC" from the Jackson 5 days. Makes sense since ABC is in my screenname and it is sort of my theme song when I think of pole dancing. ABC, easy as 1, 2, 3...

There have been vids where dancers use chairs or the floor or the wall. If the music moves you, do the challenge!
My husband dedicated Lady of my Life to me (and even asigned it as my ring tone on his phone 😉 ) so I'm pretty sure I want to do that one, but I loooove Human Nature to death. I think I'm gonna have to do 2 dances LOL.

Ok this isnt pole related, but I was searching for Michael Jackson songs to come up with something different for this months challenge. I came across something that I wanted to share. We should put in dibs on songs for this, lol so we aren't all dancing to the same song as someone else mentioned. I'll probably pick Scream or Black and White. MJ had a lot of great music and it will be missed. Does anyone know about NEW MJ music that was supposed to be released? What about dancing to MJ covers? I'd love to dance Chris Cornell - Billy Jean.
