it finally happened...

...my crapptastic Flirty GIrl pole met it's demise... i was practicing on it just moments ago when it finally broke 😮 luckly i didnt get hurt and it was rather drama-less, but i thought it was very strange considering I just ordered my new X-Pole yesterday! things always happen for a reason 🥂 ! just kinda sucks now that i dont have a place to practice till i get my new one 😢 I ordered it from Veena and I live in NY, anyone have any ideas how long it might take...?? Thanks!!

mine took about a week and i live in FL! just e-mail Webmaster and he'll give you the tracking number. 👍

Mine came pretty fast, but am still waiting for a little man help. Hopefully this weekend to put it up. I can't get over how professional it looks and its not even up yet!

Damn Flirty Girl strikes again!Bwahahahaha! If you watch Flirty Girl videos (not the DVD promos) on YouTube and they have a nice studio with good instructors. Sooooo I'm sure they know what is needed for successful dancing because you don't see their poles set up. I mean, it says a lot that a company doesn't use their own product. 😕

How were the DVD's? Does anyone know?If you go into the DVD & Books forum people wrote about their vids... I guess they are annoying and not informative (like 1 spin the first DVD). I have the two Vertical Dance DVD's from KT Coates and they are pretty good. I just ordered the Art of Pole set which EVERYONE seems to love. I can't wait for it to come in!!! 🤸

yeah, the DVD's are pretty crappy... aside from the Chair Dance and other annoying vids, there are only 2 pole instructional vids that only have 4 moves on them. The beginner DVD has the fireman, front hook, back hook and pinwheel. The intermediate DVD has a one-handed front hook, one-handed pinwheel, the peterpan, the invert and some weird variation of the reverse grab (kinda like a peterpan into a reverse grab). I feel like one-handed variations can't really be taught, its just kinda something that happens when you are strong enough and experienced enough to do the move with one hand lol Besides all this, in their instructional vids they aren't even using the Flirty Girl pole!! it almost looks like an X-Pole lol that should have tipped me off in the beginning. Flirty Girl has been the biggest waste of time and money for me. I feel like I haven't been working to my full pole-tential (hehe) because I haven't been practicing on a quality pole. I totally got sucked into their marketing and trusted them because they are on TV. how stupid, naive and foolish of me!! But i also didn't really do enough research and didn't understand the difference between poles. I mean a pole is a pole, right? NOT!!

I have been looking at their chair instructional for a while. Was wondering if that was good. I have to agree with you that one handed spin are not really taught per say.... and with what it sounds like when you finish the first pole DVD you are not strong enough to move on to the second one.... or prepared for and invert yet.
