http://www.wikipole.org It's the moves catalogue, but so much more as well, articles can be added about anything and everything to do with pole by whoever wishes to, think of it as a wikipedia for pole, which also includes a moves catalogue. Please bear in mind that the catalogue isn't finished, but I'm working on it and you should all feel free to sign up for an account and add anything you wish. I'm going to post a tutorial Ive wrote to give a basic idea on how to work a wiki, and if anyone has any questions they should ask me on here or catch me on msn. There's two links pages, one for dance schools and the other for pole related sites, so please add your site if you like. Just a little food for thought; this site didn't exist a week ago, all the content etc has all been added this week, and I just hope the site will continue to grow like that I hope you all like it! PS: Ive credited most people on their pics by forum name, if you'd like to be credited another way then just ask me Thank you to everyone who has sent me photos or helped out in another way

Basic Wiki Tutorial 1) Firstly create an account and sign in. Most of the pages in Wikipole have been protected so they can’t be edited by anonymous non-signed in users. 2) When logged in you should be able to see an edit button at the top of most pages (some will be further protected so only admins can edit them). Navigate to the page you wish to edit and press the edit button 3) The editing page should appear. At the top of the text box are buttons. From left to right these are; Bold, Italic, Internal link, External link, Headline, Embedding file, File link, Mathematical formula, Ignore wiki formatting, Signature with timestamp, Horizontal line. 4) To create a link to a new page simply click the internal link button, and type the page name. This will create a new page which you will be able to visit to edit once the save button is clicked. To create a link to an existing page do the same thing; click the internal link button and type the page name – make sure it is typed exactly the same. 5) If you want text to appear on different lines then a blank line will need to be left between the lower text and the higher text (press enter twice). 6) To add a photo to a page click the embedding file button and type whatever you wish to call the photo. For example if I was uploading a photo of the Cross Knee Release I would call the file Crosskneerelease.jpg (Note: this does not have to be the same as the file name of the photo you wish to upload). Further instructions can then be added separated with a | (press shift and \ on your keyboard for this symbol). So the code for any photos uploaded to the Moves/Spins directory should look like this: ] Save the page and click on the red photo link, this will take you to a page where you can upload your photo. 7) To add an external link, click the external link button, paste/type in the link address, leave a space and then type in the text you wish to display the link with. So the code for an external link should look like this: Any questions just ask me, and if it's all still confusing arrange to meet me on msn or skype for a brief tutorial via a madonna style headset 😉

Lola, the site is great!!! So well organised!!! I created an account but it wont let me log in, it says I have to have cookies enabled and I think I already do. 🙁

amazing! wow you must have taken alot of time to put this together it shows 🥂 i was wondering where you found the sillouttes you used? I have been trying for months to find someone to design one for me as I am designing a t-shirt and need a silouette to go w/slogan , but am afraid of copyright issues if i use clip art My mothers friend draws well, but she has a hard time getting a hold of her as schedules have changed drastically well thanks for any advice in advance again very impressive work! ☀️ 🌸

Aww, thank you all. Pole Twista, the silhouettes are mine, took me ages to do as I am without photoshop currently (although it probably wouldn't have made me any quicker, lol)

ok you have no idea 🤸 I have been searching and bugging people trying to find a way to use a silouette on a t-shirt ect without having to worry about copyright issues ect ❗ i can draw, but not that (figures) 🙁 did you draw by hand? use software? ❓ I am basically all set to design my T, this is literally the only thing holding me back 🦇 thanks for any advice/info you can pass my way 🥂

I used a photo I had of me, cut me out, put it on a white background and upped the contrast, no drawing involved. I'd suggest finding a mate who is a wizz at photoshop 😀
