International Pole Convention In LA June 22-24

I'm so excited about this! Who has been before? How was it? Was it worth the $$$? I am curious as to the cost of the workshops, seminars, all access convention pass etc. The site says nothing about prices. I have emailed the organizers for info and have heard nothing back. I have to start planning & stashing $$$ for the next few months if I am going to go because I am sure the passes and workshops are not cheap. Also, any gals interested in maybe splitting the cost of a room for 2 nights? I'm looking for a roomie who is drama, drug & alcohol free (I am not into rooming w/heavy drinkers or people that can't handle their liquor). I'd love to room with someone too who is an advanced beginner or at intermediate level like I am, so we can maybe attend some of the workshops and seminars together at the same level :). Who else is planning on attending??? I'd love to meet some Veeners!

Any word as to when the convention passes will go on sale? I keep checking the website, but don't see mention of it yet?

I would loove to see a lot of polewear there! Seeing that most pole clothing has to be ordered online and it's hard to find the right fit w/ just pictures! Yes, definately pole wear, accessories.. etc..

I agree with CalBear. Polewear!! How about the idea of a grip aid sampler pack?? Different products in sample containers for one set price?? :)

Also, maybe a studio mini duffle bag that could have Platinum Stages on it?? To hold all the dancers essentials when heading out to the studio for practice? And I'm sure people would buy them the first day and use them for going to the convention.

@azblanco - Duffle bags sound great! I like the grip aid sampler pack idea as well. Would be nice for everyone to get to try out all the different grip aides.

The Pole Convention is going to be amazing!!! It is the biggest and best event of the Pole Year!!! I have been waiting so patiently to tell all of you what we are planning!
