If money was no issue - Your dream pole?

I know I post here a lot due to my indecisiveness in choosing my first pole. But I was just given the green light to shut up and just pick one. Any one! Money is no issue, as I've been given the go ahead with the understanding that it could be over a grand. So oddly, that seems to be kicking my researching into overdrive! That being said, what would you do? Here are my factors to consider: I rent. My bedroom ceiling is flat at 8 feet. My living room ceiling is vaulted anywhere from 9 to 20 feet. It would be nice to go between the two rooms but it's not a necessity. I want the pole to be discreet with my soon to be 7 year old daughter (at least for now). I am a beginner with zero experience. It's chance to get a great pole, despite my beginner status. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREAT!

It seems there's really 3 major brands to choose from that are sturdy and safest: Platinum Stages, Xpole and Lil Mynx I love my PS pole but I like the looks of Veena's Lil Mynx because of the switch from spin to static and the way it goes up and down so easily.

So many factors including body chemistry, hand size, etc. I personally like smaller poles (45mm and lower.)

What I know for sure is that I'll go with a 45mm. The thought of screwing into the ceiling doesn't sound fun. Especially when my lease is up the end of March and I'm uncertain if I'll renew yet. But Veena made the comment that freestanding stages may not be the best for beginners.

Im really happy with my 45mm Xpert. It can be adjusted(height) with extensions and has both static and spinny mode! Plus no drilling needed to set it up, but the only downside I can find is that it doesn't work on vaulted ceilings but other than that is an excellent pole!

Thanks for the input everyone! I appreciate it. I must say that I'm dreaming of a Star Stand Alone. Possible the translucent with lights underneath. Anyone have one of those? Or have used the Pole Armour?

If I had money to spare and space I would probably have three or four poles... My current 40mm titanium gold, a 45mm brass because I've never used a 45mm and that's what they use in competitions, a 38mm pole to practice my elbow ayesha on because it's the hardest pole to do it on and also some sort of chrome pole because I've never used a chrome!

I know u said you don't want to screw into the ceiling however in your vaulted room it may be your only option. The xpole have optional vaulted mounts that go up with only six screws....might sound scary but easy holes to fill if and when you move!

The SV pole goes up and down super fast, has great grip, can be used on vaulted or flat ceilings (with the purchase of a vaulted mount) the draw back is the max height is 10 ft. I would get a pole that's 45mm X-poles are great too and can be used on both vaulted or flat ceilings (with the purchase of a vaulted mount) I like the Brass or Titanium finish. Xpoles can extend higher than the SV pole. We rent and I have 5 mounts in my ceilings, a mix of xpole and SV mounts. Screwing into the ceiling isn't a big deal, you can fill holes easily.

I really like my SSA. I have 3 diff poles. SV pole will take up less room in your home tho.

I have the SSA, xpole light stage, and xpole stage. I don't suggest a stage if you want ease of use and quick set up. Also you'll have a heck of a lot more to store if you by a stage pole....

Stage poles are not good for use as a main practice pole int he home. They take up a TON of space, there is flex & which can feel weird. the floor to ceiling poles take up way less space, have less flex, and take way less space to store.

also, it's easier to set up the floor to ceiling poles. My XSL is heavy!

We can do overnight, but it's very costly, around 180 dollars, but we would have to get a quote to know the cost for sure.

If money was no object and or space constraints, I'd have several poles up. I would love to add a SV pole into my living room along with my 45mm titan. That way I could bounce between the two. A gal can dream though ;)

Oh I would have so many poles. 45s and 50s. Maybe try a 40 too. I'd love a titanium and a brass. .... One can dream lol

So far, all you guys have done is make me want to get a 10 ft SV pole with a vault mount as well as a used SSA!!! I found two and both are about 7 hours away. But I'm so tunnel visioned that it oddly doesn't sound like a waste of a whole Saturday spent in my car! As long as I can have one now now now.

my stage was expensive but I love it. so the problem for me is ceiling height. if I had a ceiling that was anywhere near a normal height and I could have any pole I wanted , I would get a titanium gold xpert, or SV powder coated pole. Sv pole is very easy to move. and I am dying to try a powder coated pole. titanium gold is my favorite of all that I've tried, but I wish I could have it in 40mm. but for my crazy high ceilings I use an xstage lite out of necessity
