Ideas for Challenges

Here's some ideas for Challenges we can do at StudioVeena 😀 - Street poling; can you catch a vid of yourself poling at the street?? - Charlie Chaplin; why not honer Charlie, by letting us inspire of him in a video? - Halloween; dress up and go trick or treatin' at your pole! - Christmas; put on a Santa's hat and dance to a Christmas song! - Be a kid; put away all sexy heels and cute underwear - ba a kid and play at your pole! - Musical; dance to a song from a musical! - Cute or fun song; have any cute or fun songs? Pole dance to them! - Lip sync while dancing; pretend to be singing the song you dance to! - You rock my socks; dance with socks on! - Copy someone else's routine; seen a StudioVeena-member do a nice dance you wanna do? Go ahead and copy their routine! - Band T-shirts; do you have a T-shirt of your fave band? Pick one of their songs and dance to it with their T-shirt on! (If you don't have one yourself you could always borrow from friends/boyfriend/husband/girlfriend/wife). - Pajamas party; pole dance in PAJAMAS!! - Pole dance for exercise; know how to do push-ups, sit-ups or squats at the pole? Show us! If anyone else have got ideas, tell tell tell 😀 .................. And people: Stay safe!! 🙊

Those are good ideas! I always thought it would be fun to do a 90's themed challenge. Dance to your favorite 90's music 🙂

How about a "You pole danced to WHAT??" challenge. I love doing pole to songs you'd never think of. Waltz's are surprisingly good for it! Mindy

Yes, "be a kid" and "90's" would be nice too... why not also a challenge called "animals", because there are many that we could do : felines, birds, monkeys, squirrels, etc...

I like the kid idea and am also putting a second in for Mindy4pole's suggestion of dancing to stuff that you usually wouldn't think to dance to. Spoken word, ethnic music, etc. Edit: Finally figured out a better way to explain it: What's the craziest thing you could think of to dance to?

I thought it would be good to have physical or style challenges, as well. Such as, for all you climbers out there, perhaps something a little different...like a whole dance that doesn't include ANY climbing at all? Or slowing things down, speeding things up, keeping to a certain tempo of music? Something silly, something serious, something sexy, or other style differences? Just some thoughts.

Awwww 🤸 Please please please tell me we'll be doing the christmas themed 🎅 one for the December Challenge 🎅 I want to surprise my boyfriend with a choreographed miss santa routine just for him 😉 Later to be posted on Veena of course 😛

i just read thru the original list. what great ideas! even though have given up trying to post vids, think will do these for fun. street poling am intrested in, but think street signs might be too wide. would hate to try something and land on my arse in front of the neighbors.. lol. heading up to try some of these soon! 🥂

I think it would be wicked fun to dance to a song someone else picked for us....or to dance to a song that is 180 degrees different from what we normally dance to. Like pick something s-u-p-e-r slow if you normally dance to something fast, or vice versa. 🙂

Creative ways to include pole wiping, grip application and wardobe fix-ups in your pole routines! There have got to be 101 sexy ways to wipe the pole down, some sort of sneaky ways to fix your grip mid-routine and ways to fix your wardrobe intentionally or stealthily.

Haha I love the last idea 🥂 . Maybe if I could actually figure out a way to make by wiping hands on butt/wiping down pole look sexy, I'd actually post a video. I'm not sure if this has been done yet.. but maybe a decades challenge? I think everyone has a favorite decade for music and style, and I would love to see what people could come up with from their decades.

I love all of the ideas already posted! Here are a few of mine! Spins Only Challenge! Do a routine that consists of only spins! Disney Challenge! Dance to your favourite song from your favourite Disney Movie! You Listen to WHAT When You Dance? Dance to the strangest song that is on your pole dancing playlist (spoken work, ethnic music, kids songs, etc.)! <-- already suggested but I LOVE that idea! Tight Spaces Challenge! Perform a dance that you could do if your pole was in a small space! (might be too restricting, but it would sure make people be creative!) No Mirror Challenge! Take away your mirror(s) and record your performance! Animal Challenge! Dress as an animal and perform a pole dance in that animals style! (Monkey, do lots of climbing! Tiger, do lots of crawling and (sexy) growling) Or just dress as an animal and dance! Casual Challenge! Pole dance in jeans and a T-Shirt! Tell A Story Challenge! Choregraph and perform a dance using your pole that tells a story! (Find a song that has a storyline and use that as inspiration!) Theme Song Challenge! Dance to your favourite theme song! (from a movie or TV) High School Challenge! Dance to your favourite song from High School!

i think doing a choreographed routine would be fun....i mean maybe EVERYONE but me does choreographed challenges haha but i always free style and i think having a reason to choreo a routine would be fun =) I also think we should all do a dance to the same song, pick a song and everyone does a dance to that song =) i just did one, but a blooper reel would be funny too, take all the old video clips of you making silly mistakes and make a video kk, that is all.

I always loved blind folded (of course you need someone around to make sure you don't walk/crawl into things lol) and hands tied together is always fun...both REALLY make you move in different ways 🙂

Oh Yeah and a REMIX Strip...or UN STRIP as I like to call it... I am going to try to do one for the floor challenge...you start in next to nothing and get dressed instead of stripping lol

I second the challenge for everyone to pole to the same song- it could be really cool to see how different everyone flows through the song. I also liked the "you danced to WHAT?" theme.

This may have already been mentioned or done before, but how about "Request a song"-challenge? We could pick songs to challenge our fellow Veeners based on their individual style and our own thoughts of "Hey, I would LOOOOVEEEE to see her dance to this!" As you can tell, I've already got some idea of who I would like to dance to what and have been looking for an opportunity to call her out on this type of challenge, muahahahaha! 😈 ? ~*Serzi

Ok so I don't know if this idea has already been listed or done...I tried to skim through really quickly at other suggestions don't think I saw it. So how about we choose a song that the video has like a dance routine or dance break and try to incorporate the entire routine, a watered down version, or just bits and pieces into our own dance! I kinda got the idea from one of SaschaPoles vids when she tried to do a bit of Beat It into her dance. Like someone could try to do the famous Single ladies dance or Smooth Criminal...idk there are soo many vids with dance breaks. I think it would be really fun to try and do...of course do this challenge for a longer month!

Since Veena is going to upload a routine on her Lessons, how about we all learn the choreography and then perform it with our own choice of song? And of course everyone will add their own personality into their dance to make it unique. What do you guys think of that?

OH I love that idea!!! I wouldn't normally want everyone to "copy/do" then post a lesson routine exactly how I performed it, but this would be a fun challenge...and the routine is only a min long so you could do it a few times for a longer song! Veena, that would be a terrifichelp for those of us who haven't done a routine yet. Will you be adding a few more intermediate & advanced routines too? Thanks for all you do!
