The stork just brought my baby and it's a girl!!!!! She's here!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am now the proud parent of a Titanium Gold X-Pole!! 😂 🥂 UPS just delivered her and she's a beauty!!!!! Her name is Goldie!!! 😂 Jungle Cat 🐱 *Will be purring all day*

I will definitely let you ladies know. I have talked my friends into going to Red Lobster this evening to commemorate the day, then afterwards we are gonna come home and they are gonna help me put up the pole! Am I really over doin it or what? 😂 I am such a geek! 🤓 hahaha

Lol I saw the topic and who started it and I immediately thought "OOOHHH boy, he must've gotten his pole." I'm looking at getting a used x-pole, so I'm excited myself. 😉 Congrats, Jungle Cat!
Thank ya kindly!!! Whoo hooo I did shoulder mount and few times and hung upside down and did "caterpillar" I think it's called on my first time poling!! But I can't do spins worth crap LOL
Congrats on the new arrival. 🤸 Let me guess: OCD perfectionist?? The spins will come with time. 👽 I have no idea how many times I've had students nearly give up as they can't do a spin, then all of a sudden, it comes to them (me included!! I'm really bad at beating myself up for not getting spins etc we don't even discuss inverts right now... But I can do the Ushiro, which one day I will post as it's very pretty and a lot of fun). Keep trying and really stretch out your shoulders and arms. They don't hurt too bad on the first day, but the day after... 😉 😂 I wanted to curl into a little ball, but could barely raise my arms above my elbows, so didn't curl up.
Hehe thank ya for the tips LA!! So far nothing really hurts! I think it helps that I have been doing daily yoga for about 2 years. I did the seat a couple of times last night!!! Wow pole dancing is really tough! I guess I need to start making videos of my bloopers too lol What is that software program you guys are using to do your videos with?

Yes, get some vids posted! 😛 I'm a bum and use windows movie maker... I take the vid with my digital camera and just upload it to WMM. It sucks, but it's default software for windows and I can't afford anything else. 😳 If anyone knows of a good FREE program, that would be great *asking for both me and Jungle Cat!*
Actually Jacq, your videos is why I was asking! I thought it was fabulous!! You put the words in there and cut scenes and everything. That was awesome!!!! And I still can't get enough of your victory dance when you did the one handed spin. It was so nice to see you so happy. I couldn't help but to be happy with you!! It was great! I watched it about 5 or 6 times. I am so proud of you! Keep up the good work!! I don't have a digital camera. I'm El Cheapo! But I'm going to get one and do the exact same thing you did. I have to look on my computer and see if I have Windows Movie Maker on it. I don't think I do tho 🙁 sucky!

If you have Windows XP it should be there, like I said it's default software. I'm not sure if Vista has it but I'm not sure why it wouldn't. You can import any kind of video file to it, so as long as you get the video on your computer one way or another (digital camera, webcam, etc.) you can import it. Like I said, it sucks, big time, but it gets the job done and if you're broke, it serves the purpose. 😜 WMM should be under My Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files > Movie Maker > then click on the moviemk.exe file. Then on the left side there will be a menu that will say Capture Video and it'll have your options for getting the video(s) in the program. If it's already on your computer, click "import video" and browse for it. Then the video(s) will appear in the middle of the screen. Then you drag and drop them onto the timeline below and put them in the order you want them. If you want to clip them and edit them, you can click on the clip and drag the end of it to cut off part of it. My first video was one long video, so I had to keep dragging the original video to the timeline and cutting it to just the parts I wanted. It was annoying because it was a 15 minute video and I cut it to like 10-second segments... I'm sure there's an easier way to do it... As far as the words, go to Tools > Titles and Credits. It'll then ask you what and where you want to put the words, like on its own screen in the timeline (beginning, end, middle, etc.) or if you want the words right on the video. Pick which one you want, type it in, play with colors and fonts, then click done. You can always rearrange them after you do them. The title screens (just the words, not the video with words) can just be dragged wherever. The words that go with the video will appear in its own timeline under the video timeline. You can drag those to wherever you want them to appear on the video. Just make sure you do these last, because if you go back and edit more video, the words that go with it won't follow it to wherever it was displaced to in the timeline. You can also add an audio track and stuff like that, but I just filmed with music in the background... These are just the basics, but it'll get you started. Good luck finding the program! P.S. I'm glad you enjoyed my video so much! I'll have to give you a shout-out in my next one and do a little victory dance just for you! 🤸

LOL you were DEFINITELY not over-doing it. when i got my pole i took a picture on my phone and sent it to everyone, then made a facebook status update and sent out an email to my mom and grama. LOL now THATS obnoxiously over-doing it haha 🙂
