How to Ask the Parents?

I'm not sure if this is the right spot for this to be in for I'm taking a chance 😛 Also, I've been gone a long time >< My internet has been down and it's kinda rare I get semi-good internet to do much so.. here I am 😀 I still have yet to get my own pole but for when I do, I would like suggestions on specific videos that are probably the cleanest out there to show my future inlaws so they will be fine with me setting up a pole in their home. I want to show them it's not some "whorey" thing that should scream STRIPPER! when seen :/ I want to show them how beautiful it can be and how helpful it is but since I have such horrible internet, I can't go searching for videos because the loading of them takes about 45 minutes and that's just... a long time.. to see a video 😐 I'd appreciate it if you'd link me your own videos so I can save them for when I can try to fight for my pole! Thanks so much 😀 ..btw.. what is this.............. 🙊 safe.. o.o; ok

Don't show them my video! LOL, j/k But seriously...I'd tell you to youtube some of the pros but you can't and I can't right now because I'm at work or I'd totally look some up for you. I'll try to find some when I get home if I have time. I believe Veena has a lot of "clean" vids... her march challenge vid comes to mind...

Maybe TaraKarina's vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msy7TtyAVIc&feature=fvst. It's definitely clean, and it's the YT pole dancing vid with the most views (over 3 mln now). Of course one of Veena's vids. As Sissybuns mentioned her March (St. Patrick's Day) Challenges are great. The first is more airy, with lots of light footed dancing; the second one is more up-tempo, with more 'heavier' moves. I bet the other SV ladies have many great suggestions for you too. Especially here on-site there are a lot nice vids. Maybe it's also good to show them different levels of pole dance, since you won't be hanging upside down in a full split anytime soon 😛 . And I personally always like vids of men doing pole as well, because it shows the strength aspect even more. (And it underlines once more that it's deffo not just for strippers!) Anyway, I'd be happy to look at more vids, if you need me too 😀 👍 It's really too bad you can't browse vids yourself! Also, I'd love to see what other suggestions are posted. Can't wait to watch them all! *giggles from the excitement* 😀

That KT Coates Swan Lake video is pretty classic for how tasteful pole dancing can be. Lucy Misch has one to an overplayed sarah mclachlan song that's pretty parent friendly. she even wears wings. I'd probably show them that pregnant veena one.. with the norah jones. eheheh. can't get much anti-strippuh than that. though personally, I think were I a man, I'd pursue pregnant women relentlessly.

This is all really great! Thanks so much!! I'm doing my best to be patient about letting them load but, ugh! 😈 I'll be saving all of these and I really appreciate your help with this 😀 It probably still won't be a while before I can even think about buying myself a pole. I'm going back to David's in November and I will be there until New Year's so I'll be doing my best to get a job for myself again 🙂 Hopefully I'll have more luck this time, David just got called in for an interview after being jobless for nearly a year! I'm so excited! Wish us luck and keep em coming if you find anymore 😀

Hey, I have a little trick up my sleeve! 🤸 Show them a MAN pole dancing, that way they become more familiar with the idea of it as a sport, rather than a sexual thing.
