My home pole gets cleaned before practice, after practice, and during practice as many times as necessary (when I notice it getting the slightest bit slippery or residue-ey I wipe it down w/ degreaser). At the studio, most everyone has the same protocol. There are plenty of spray bottles of rubbing alcohol for girls to use. Hope that helps :)

Not a lot. I know that sounds disgusting but when I clean it, it becomes greased lightning again so grimy works better for me on my slippery stainless steel.
before, during, and after each use usually. I have brass, I wipe it with alcohol. sometimes I wont clean it if it seems to work better grimy. right now it seems to be better when its clean. I have an xstage so I clean the stage part with alcohol too. oils from feet make it slippery.

OK. So it seems Dirt & Sweat makes for an excellent grip aid. Now how can we bottle it?
