How long does it take...

...to break-in a stainless steel pole? (This is sort of going off of joni1's post.) I keep hearing from people that a broken-in ss pole can be one of the grippiest poles of all. OK, so a club pole gets used a lot and gets worn in by multiple dancers but what about when it is just me? I probably dance on my pole every other day (or sometimes just two times a week) and for only about 40 minutes each time. How much longer do I have to wait? *impatient*

My ... neutral hand position broke in super quick. You know the one you pirouette and do short spins from. Like. SUPER QUICK. The rest of the pole- well. Now I have the entire top half BROKEN IN, and it's been that way for like four months. So lets say 6 months of 3 times a week poling to get the top half awesomely awesomely broken in ... and my bottom is slippery as an oilspill duck, except for where my bottom hand goes in split grip positions. I really have been trying to use it more... more split grip spins down to the floor, inchy caterpillars, but it's long hard work.
