How do you disassemble your x-pole?

I sadly had to get rid of my permanent PS pole recently because I had to unexpectedly move to another apartment (it was cut to fit my old ceiling). Bought an x-pole a few weeks ago to avoid this problem in the future...because it just isn't economically feasible to get a new pole everytime I move to a new place. Plus, it was a little traumatic getting rid of a pole that I had already "bonded" with 😳 I usually take down the pole about once a week and move it from my living room to the bedroom 😉 I always seem to get various parts stuck (i.e. the 50-->45 converter stuck to an extension, A pole stuck to B pole, etc) and it usually turns into an ordeal getting them apart. I read on other posts that people just leave parts of their pole assembled to make it faster in terms putting it up, but I don't like the idea of keeping them stuck. Don't they apparently get harder and harder to take apart the longer they are stuck together? I'm really careful with cleaning out any dirt in the threads and am more than liberal with the WD-40. What's the deal? So my question is...what is the specific order of things that you do when you disassemble your x-pole? Loosen the individual pieces first and then the dome? Or dome first? Bottom to top? What's the best way to do it? Thanks in advance

You no longer have to clean the connecting parts of the Xpole with the new Xjoints. For regular maintenance there are a few things to check like the hex screws, etc if they need any oiling from time to time. Check the last page of your instruction manual for these instructions but it's basically just checking the operation and inspecting parts. No more cleaning!! 🥂 Is the unlocking tool for pervious version of xpoles only, or also for the new xjoint xpert? Does xpert still need to be taken down/apart, etc once a month or so for inspection?

Hi all just got x pole off eBay bargain as person could not unlock poles and took it too my pole instructor who unlocked poles with some fab tools she had specially made. Sending my x pole release tools back. :-))))
