there are many benefits to pole dancing. Pole dancing does, but is not limited to; -increasing upper body strength through strength moves -increasing flexibility through stretching -stamina from dancing -self-esteem boosting -weight loss -friend making -learning one or more style of dancing -being able to be a bad-ass/ninja in public -pick up tons of hot ladies/guys because of your sport (although this usually only applies to dudes)

lol cap I think it'd be considered hotter for a girl to know how to pole than a guy

it's typically considered a "women's sport" so when the gender role is switched up its it's interesting. That, and when you're a guy people's first thought isn't, "oh, you're a stripper."

SO true about that. Its like dude hoopers. If you're a dude, and you hoop, you have about 1000 fan girls instantly lol. My husband hoops, you'd not believe how bold the women are right in front of me about hitting on him. Luckily, we are able to laugh about it.
