It's not because I've been working repeatedly on this move per se. It's that it's taken me frickin' ages to figure out any ways that I can feasibly use to get in to the flipping thing! -From a handstand - I couldn't never quite readjust myself properly -From CAR - too scary! Once I got my hands down, my legs told me there was no way they were letting go -Flipping up from flagpole - hells no! I have a (pole move) commitment problem -Flicking back from a shoulder mount - I always figured this was my best bet 'cos my SM is quite strong so I've been working on getting my legs on both sides of the pole but just couldn't seem to get the grip with the back of my knee before careening off the pole (not in a falling kind of way, just in a slippy kind of way). -from ayesha to straight edge to BM- I always figured this would be a don't-even-bother option because my ayesha has been hit-and-miss on occasion and I haven't even tried the straight edge from it. HOWEVER, today there wasn't many of us in the class and I thought I'd play around and holy crap, all it took was a little wriggling round after my caterpillar butt push up, a little grabbing on inelegantly with my inside leg and then a little bending of said leg and I was there!! I did it a few more times and tried taking my hands off but slowly and surely slipped down (any tips on not slipping once the hands are off??) but anyway, I finally got the move I have wanted for aaggesss and had to come and share it with people who would understand ๐
