Hey Kitty, KK and I were talking about this earlier. . we were actually going to put up a couple poles at her place. But I was going to ask you and Rhonda about how u felt today. I had no idea that she'd planned out that much. . . So I guess we'll go with the Jam at Pole Waxers. I'll mssg everyone and let them know. V- See u later on today!!!

Has anyone heard if anyone else will be there on the 2nd.......meaning do u think we will have 10 girls that pole drawing would be awesome 🤸 🤸 🤸

oh no worries if you cant make this pole jam we will be planning another one real soon. hopefully we can get one started once a month just so we can meet and greet more SV memebers and stuff. 🙂 as far as pole waxers, we need to clarify with the owner how much ea. person needs to pay at the door. I dont think its $10, the way I read it was that the GNO is $15 and if we want to attend both the GNO and the SV polejam afterward it would be $20 for the 2classes. hopefully we can get confirmation soon. nonetheless im excited to see how it will turn out ;p

See you all Saturday Night Okay let me go ahead and clarify since there is some confusion. No there is not 2 polejams there is only 1 and its at polewaxers university where you planned it allllll out. The confusion came about and there was a slight communication breakdown between you and skittles. I offered to jam at my house since its spacious and not a lot of furniture is in there and it was $0.00 for me any anybody else besides maybe snacks if need be 🙂. As far as I know, polejams are usually free and its mainly just SV members who are in the area get together and jam. So being that we just finished the holidays im sure people are trying to make their money last. So honestly you will be making at least $100 off of the members not us and if we wanted to drink thats extra too(unless we are able to BYOB...i doubt that). I assumed that when jams were at private studios that it was mainly used as an advertisement strategy....to let others who arent members to try it out and see if they would be interested in purchasing classes at a later date. When skittles was trying to get some clarification with you over the phone about the event, you automatically assumed she wasnt coming and cut her off. So again....there is only 1 pole jam on jan 2 and thats at your establishment. Going forward I will make sure this doesnt happen again when planning future polejams. I hope that the weather doesnt hinder anybody from making it to your studio on saturday. happy poling ➡️
Hey Everyone, The reason why I posted that there seems to be 2 Pole Jams is because of the email that Skittles sent to me. Date:12-28-09Subject:ATL Pole JamHello!! I wanted to email and let u know that this pole jam looks like it is going to be just a few of us so we're going to get together at someone's house. . . For the next pole jam, we'll try planning in advance (1 month out or so) to get more response and head out there to pole waxers. This way we can get your dates and others can plan for coming in from out of town. . . In the meantime, I think I'll try to make it out one tuesday or saturday with PrettyKitty and check it out!! Thanks! Vakiesha aka "Skittles" Plus we were asked for our input from another person on this thread Since we may have a couple ladies coming from outside of the immediate ATL area, I'm guessing a Saturday would be best? What about Saturday the 19th? Also, (and maybe Robin can chime in here) how many poles are available at Polewaxers? I posted on my blog that anyone from SV Forum who wanted to come out to Pole Waxers we would be having only a Pole Jam from 9:00 to Midnight. If you wanted to attend the Girls Night Out that is a Seperate functionbut are more than happy to attend. I aso stated that we would charge $15 for the Pole Jam because we were giving away a FREE dance pole & the drawing would only be for the for the girls who atttned the Pole Jam.This covers the cost of the Pole and the Food and Drinks that we were provideing for everyone who attended so no one would be put out and feel obligated to bring something , this way all you would need to do is show up and pole. and Lastly Because of the Holiday's this is Why we thought it would be nice to Give a way the dance pole and our Instructors and Level students stay for the Pole Jam to get to know everyone since they had never heard of this forum before and I figured they would see what a great bunch of women everyone was and join the forum as well after meeting everyone. LOL. . . . Pole Jam is suppose to be a FUN gathering?!?!? No? ROBIN- There is only one pole jam on Jan2nd going on ((See my above posting)) I think this may be why we were confused. . . I started this thread to organize an ATL Pole Jam. My intentions are only to get together with other Polers in ATL and have a good time, exchange ideas, meet up, all that good stuff. . . Although it wasn't stated; we were planning to have it at someone's home (b4 there was such a large response) (In regard to the quote you posted from MsC) I was under the impression that if we had a lot of people attending, we'd do the girls night out at Pole Waxers. This is why I kept posting to request a confirmation list of attendees. When I only saw the 4 responses confirmed, I figured we'd go with KK's house and I talked to everyone individually. A SV member that I later spoke with told me that Pole Waxers was "expecting" all SV pole jam ppl at Pole Waxers Girls Night Out! This is when I sent u the message stating that we didn't have a lot of ppl confirmed. (At that point, myself and the other SVppl had agreed to meet up at someones home). The message you posted was an email sent directly to you. . I sent the email to you for the sake of not changing things and confusing everyone I'd already spoken to. At this point I had NO idea that you'd planned out so many things at your studio specifically for us SV Pole Jammers (atl). (ie; the drawing, the extra studio time separate from gno, etc) The same day; I got a message back from u stating that you were having a Pole Jam at Waxers, had enough ppl confirmed, and you hoped I could make it out. . . (( 🤔 since I started the atl jam thread, of course Id want to attend!!)) Later after I got that message, the blog posting appeared with details about the Pole Jam at Waxers. At that point everyone is excited, b/c we didn't know that you had so much planned just for us! 🥂 Then, I posted the above confirming that the Jam was at Waxers. (I think I posted this the same day that I emailed you and saw the blog). At that point it was finalized. I felt no need to repost, causing any further confusion. I then started talking to another member about riding out there together (b/c we live near ea other) If you'll notice, after my posting "We'll go with the Jam at Waxers" there were no further postings from me about it. . . my goodness, it was confusing enough, even to to me!!! SO TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO ATTEND. . . . (for clarification purposes) There is a January 2nd Pole Jam in Marietta, GA @ Pole Waxers University Robin, I started the thread for the Pole Jam in ATL on January 2nd and was doing my best to organize a nice fun gathering for us SV ATL ladies. The email I sent directly to YOU, that you posted was to communicate the Pole Jam plans. I didn't know what PWU had going on especially for SV, but when I found out I deferred everything to PWU. 🤔 Well I'm gonna go ahead and throw the rest of my 3cents in. Honestly since I read the post before my last response from Robin in regards to it being 2 polejams, I decided that I would not attend due to the fact that the comment made was not was asked nor called for at all. This all could have been avoided if I would have recieved the information I asked of you(in the beginning) in regards to the confirmation about the prices (which was for us all because we didnt know what the price was and I'd hate for a memeber to get to the door and not expect to pay 15-20bucks and be upset). So instead of you confirming the info, you took it to the left field. So thats why I reacted as such. I'm not nice all the time(but im honest) and when I see something off I will speak my mind and be as respectful as I need to be. Also I will point out the fact that the pole drawing you planned is great 😉 ...but give us that opportunity to let u know if thats what WE want to do instead of U assuming so BEFORE u get confirmation. Some people may not have wanted to pole...but just to come meet/greet ya know(is that $15 too?) Well nonetheless....I wont be at PWU, but I am willing to open my home up to anybody who wants to come meet and greet saturday afternoon sometime BEFORE the PWU atl polejam on the 2nd. I am doing this because I dont want to pass up a chance to mingle with some awesome chicas while they are here in the area visiting. Cant wait to meet you all 🙂 I will be calling those whose numbers I have today sometime, anybody else please send me a message and let me know if you need the info. Hey Yal You all are right Pole jams are sapose to be fun..... This is crazy how it has all turned Out We were trying to do something that would be enjoyable for everyone not more like a pissing contest because we surely had no intensions of it being that way and we certainly never ment to step on anyones toes. Any way.... we are having a Get together Pole Jam what ever you wish to call it Saturday Night from 9 to midnigh We are inviting anyone who wishes to come from SV is more than welcome to attend. We ( Pole Waxers ) already have had a Jam Session scheduled for our students that evening this is why we posted it for Jan 2nd. Of course we would love to have you all come out, but no matter where everyone goes we hope everyone has a fun & safe time. We hope everyone has a Happy New Year.
Everyone who came out, I want to thank.... You all were awesome. We had such a great time. Congrad's to our Dance Pole Winner. We put up a video on my page of the pole jam. Everyone got to know each other, share , laugh & be supportive of each other... That's what made the Pole Jam a success. Hope to see you all again soon. For those of you who didnt get to come out.. theres always next time and we would love to see you all. Have a Have Pole Day! 😀
Can't we all just get along. 🥂 I did confirm with one of you ladies about the PJ and then all of a sudden my inbox was flooded with different location after different location ❓ . I figured it was too cold for me to run around Atlanta like a chicken with my head cut off, so I just backed out 😕 and once I checked this thread and saw how back and forth it was I'd figure I'd wait to a more organized time. Thank you ladies who put their effort into trying to organize this. For a future organized event, I'll volunteer my space/studio... meet/greet/jam/whatever, just send me a message. 🫡

Yes my thoughts exactly. As far as planning goes had a polejam at my house this past weekend with myself and *skittles* (along with some other folks) and we had a ball. Cant wait until we do it again. My apt is big enough for at least 3 to 4 poles to be put up too so the sky is the limit. I also stay downtown atlanta so thats probably an easier halfway point to meet up. I'm willing to travel to come jam too but I just like to know ahead of time so I can plan accordingly. so...im lookin forward to the next jam. My weekends are mainly free so hopefully we can get another one planned this month or maybe next. I really want to have a regular get together for the atlanta memebers if we can....so we can put a face with a name. Hope to meet you ladies soon. Have a positive week. :stay warm: ☀️

Hi ladies, let me start off by saying I've been pole dancing since the end of August but my skills suggest that I may have been doing it longer than that lol. I'm a level 3 student at the infamous Pole Waxers in ATL *cheers* lol. I'm the level 3 class daredevil lol. I happen to stumble upon this site because a friend of mine told me about it an almost told me off cause I didn't invite her to the pole jam. I had no clue there was even a pole jam and a lil sad that I wasn't there but I can't revamp the past. Despite what just transpired on here to me I still love Pole Waxers an think it's 1 of the best studios around. But I would love to join in on 1 of these interesting pole jams, what can I say I have a pole addiction lol. If there are any future pole jams I want first dibs on the invite list, hope to be invited to 1 soon.
How the heck am I just now seeing this thread??!!! I live 45 min from Atl! Can't believe I missed out on the first one. 😢 I'm TOTALLY going to be at the next jam! What are the current thoughts on a date for the next one??? 🌸
