Hi! I'm from Montreal, Canada, living in Mallorca, Spain!

Hi everyone! I have been obsessing about pole dancing since the beginning of this year when I saw a video of Felix. But because of my work which requires me to travel, I have only been able to get my pole last Friday. Woohoo!!! I am soooo happy! I loooove it! It is perfect for me. I am a circus artist and I love to dance. I have been trying to find a circus discipline which allows me to use this love of dance, but I haven't really been able to find it... But I found pole dancing. I love to stay fit, I love to dance, I love to do "circus like" activities, I love to use my flexibility, I love to do handstands... It's perfect! So now that I am actually starting to practice pole dancing, I decided to introduce myself. Hi, my name is Sabine 😉 I was born in Montreal, my parents are from Haiti and I am currently living in Mallorca, Spain. I went to the National circus school in Montreal so if anyone of you have questions about flexibility, strength training or handstands, I will be happy to try to help as much as I can. I hope to show you soon some videos of me doing pole ( that is, when I get to do a pole sit without making faces of torture lol.) Welcome. Glad you found pole dancing since based off what you said it seems perfect for you. I love your name by the way, I used to babysit for a woman named Sabine and always thought it sounded so pretty. Your act is awesome. I'd be so dizzy!

Binejean! That video was amazing! You've got great talent there! And that ring/hoop act looks sooo much fun to do. You've already got a lot of strength so when you finally do get a pole you're going to get through it so quickly and I can't wait to see your pole videos when you do post. Wow! I just loved your video--so strong and beautiful. In February I will think of you in Mallorca and be slightly jealous...you know how it is here in winter. Que dichosa! Welcome and post some vids of your pole progress soon. Can't wait!

Thank you everyone for your warm welcome and the nice comments! What I do on the video is called simple wheel, single wheel or cyr wheel. The last name, Cyr wheel, is like that because the man who first popularized it is called Daniel Cyr and he wants people to remember him... I guess. But I once offended him by calling it simple wheel while talking to him... 😳 hihi! I do get dizzy when I go fast but your body actually get used to it. When I just started, I would feel dizzy in my bed before going to sleep. I felt as if I was in a boat, but worst. But then it disappeared and now I only get dizzy for 2 seconds after I get down from the wheel. No one notice when I'm performing. 😎 Thank you again everyone and it is so nice to see all of you doing your thing on the pole. It makes me happy! Very inspiring! <3
