I actually just took a pole class Tuesday night here and it was AMAZING! I'm thinking about just getting one for at home and teaching myself though since I don't really have enough money to pay $25-30 a class. Any suggestions about what to do? I'm looking in to getting an X-Pole whenever I am able to. Is the Kendra Wilkinson X-pole much different? I know it's completely static, but is that it?

The differences Im aware of is that it is::: Static only It only comes in 45mm only (as opposed to the regular xpole that gives you the option of 50mm or 45mm) Its only available in chrome. The ceiling fixture is different than that of the regular xpole (the regular xpole ceiling fixture is wider & thicker) All the adjusting is done at the bottom of the pole as opposed to the top It only fits ceilings 7"4 to 9 feet. Its made by Xpole tho so I imagine its good. But for 50 dollars more you could have the spin option and get the same quality with the basic xpole. Guess it just depends on what you are looking for! Ok thanks for your help! Yeah the regular Xpole sounds better... So do you have any suggestions about how I should get started on my own? I learned the fireman and two other basic spins in this intro class I just took, but I'm kind of stumped about where to go from there when I actually get a pole.

Welcome to the site. 🌸 While you're waiting for your pole you could do some strength training to prepare yourself. I also recommend some stretching to increase your flexibility which will come in handy when you start poling. 😉 I recommend Veena's lessons here on the site. They're not expensive and she has them set out in the correct order that you should be doing them in. Theres even some strength training videos! 😀 Best of luck on your pole journey! 🥂
