hey all, Im carla 22 from nottingham England. New to this venture, i also enjoy burlesque dancing, trying to work on my splits at present...inches from the floor! any advice would be great, also a strange question...VERY interested in the x pole, in terms of not trashing my house or mantel piece with my heels..what kinda clearance u recommend? or shud i just get up there,spread my legs n c if i have the space??! Thanks all xx

hi redpassion, welcome to the site! As far as space goes, the more the better, although many people have been able to 'get by' in pretty small spaces (you just gotta be really careful in that situation, and will start to feel restrained at some point). I would think that at least 2 arms length would be ok, (but more would be better). I'm sure you'll figure it out once you start using your pole.. good luck!
