😛 So i finally have the money to get my pole!!!! yayayayyayayyay. i am so excited. but i have been wondering. i hope this doesn't sound stupid but, what is the difference in a 45mm and a 50mm X-pole? 🤔 does it make a difference in tricks? I heard people say that some tricks are harder on 50mm. Thanks for reading 😜

the 50 or 45 mm refers to how big around the pole is, so a 50mm is bigger around (50 mm = 2"). Tricks are supposedly harder on a 50mm; I have a chrome 50mm and have never used a 45, so I couldn't vouch personally. I'd recommend the 50 because that's the standard - it's usually what's found in clubs and such. But if you have really small hands or something then maybe the 45 would be your best bet. Also, you can always start on a 50 and maybe someday be able to get a 45 if you'd like; but if you start on a 45 and then try to go to a 50, then it'll seem much harder to you. Thanks that was fast. Well my hands are small. i am 5'2 so maybe the 45mm would work for me. ohhhhh i can't wait! 🤸
Also i have another question?????? How short can the X-pole go??? my ceilings are 71/2 feet maybe 8 feet.

Oh you just reminded me - I'm only 5'4" with rather small hands myself (my ring finger size is a 4.5, so you can imagine how small my hands are!) and I don't seem to have any problems with the 50mm. But like I said, up to you. Is there anywhere you can go to test them out??? 🤔 X-pole minimum height is 7'4", but you can go shorter... I have 7' even ceilings, and I had to buy an extension and use it in place of one of the standard poles. 7.5 foot ceilings would be fine for the standard kit. 😀

If you think you might ever want to compete or dance in a club, then I would go with the 50mm, because that is the standard size pole in the US. If its just for fitness and fun at home than either one is fine. It can be difficult, to switch from a small pole, to a large pole, and pretty much, no trouble at all to move to a smaller size, just so your aware. I use the 45 and 50 and love them both, but if I use my 45 exclusively for too long my grip suffers on the 50mm. 🌸
Thank you ladies for all the help. I am going to think about if for a while. i am kinda stuck on the 45mm pole right now. I can't wait to get one! I was thinking about getting one for a long time, free shipping kinda made my mind 😛
