Help! I can't sit on a Chrome X-Pert!

Aloha! I recently got my brand new Chrome X-Pert! It's been nearly a week and I have only poled on it only twice. For spins I can grip the pole fine BUT when I climb up to sit on it, I find that the pole is SO slippery that my legs won't hold and I slide right off! I have tried spraying hairspray on the pole, my legs and even the good ol' methol & water combo to clean my pole and my skin but nothing seems to work! I always make sure I have a shower before I pole so I wash off all my moisturisters before I pole. The Chrome finish seems to feel awfully similar to the SS finish as the ones I use at my local pole studio, and though the SS can be quite slippery, I can at least sit and grip using my legs and other parts. Before I assembled the pole I wiped the poles down with soapy detergent water and then another wipe with water and then dried it off with a towel. Am I doing something wrong here? Do I need to wipe it down with more soapy water to remove any manufacturing residue/grease? I've read that you need to clean new X-Poles thoroughly before use to remove the coating that may be on it. Also do you think maybe warming the pole by giving it a quick all-over with a hairdryer will maybe help the metal become more grippy or "sticky"? Does anyone else have this problem as well or have experienced this?!
