Help!!! My dear x-pole...

... Me and my boyfriend are moving, so we took the x-pole down last night. When I was loosening the really big screw (below the dome), it loosened from the ceiling, but now it feels like the screw is tightened "into" the pole. Does anyone know what's up? I didn't loosen the nut first, is that it? I don't know, but I'm worried it won't unscrew when I try to put it up... PLEASE PLEASE HELP, if you know what to do. Thanks & OneLove

😲 YOU HAVE TO LOOSEN THE NUT FIRST!!! You may have broken you pole. 😢 If you can't get the big nut back up away from the pole, you will have to order a new top half of the pole. I'm guessing you totally stripped the treads.

my boyfriend got it undone. thank you for responding so quickly. I'm so stupid. I will NEVER do that again (how could I be so negligent with my lovely pole.) I told her sorry. I will follow all of your care instructions, now that I've learned my lesson. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. OneLove

I'd still double check those threads to make sure they weren't stripped... maybe you already did but I won't be able to sleep tonight wondering if your pole will come crashing down on you or not... 😕

I double checked. It's solid. What can I say... those x-pole ppl sure know how to make a pole. Thanks for having such concern. You're good people. OneLove
