Hello from Toronto!

Hey everyone! I've been on the Polejunkies forum for a while but I'm glad I found/finally joined Veena's Forum! This is a great forum. I've been pole dancing for 5 years, and do aerial hoop as well. In Toronto there isn't much of a pole community like there is in the US, so I don't know what i'd do without the forums! Veena you are fantastic, and I love watching your videos. Hi Stephanie! I found this awesome website a couple months ago, myself!! I am a pole dancer from Toronto as well! I train at downtown Aradia (Queen and Bathust) because they were the only studio around that offers 2 amazing, really true co-ed classes. It creates a really unique environment and both the girls and the boys love it! I also have a really good friend who is opening the most amazing home-studio you've ever seen in my home town of Newmarket. 5 years in pole dancing!!! That's awesome!!! Its been 8 months for me! Enjoy the website!

Hello, neighbour! I'm just down the road in Brantford! I've been on the pole for 2 and a half years and I'm LOVING it! This is the best poledancing site EVER!! 🥂 Y'know, we should really have a SW Ontario pole jam in April or May--maybe the May 24 weekend!!! When there's no chance of snowstorms. Thoughts? Comments? Concerns? Anyway WELCOME! ☀️

Hello, I'm from Toronto too 😀 I'm just a beginner with pole though.. Poleophile- ON pole jam sounds like it would be cool.. 👍 .. I don't personally know anyone around here that poles lol.

Hi Stephanie, welcome to SV. I live in mississauga but work at Sick Kids downtown. I have been poling for 3 year. I have also started taking aerial silk. GIRLS AND BOYS, we should totally have a Ontario pole jam. 🤸 May sounds good. 🌸

Hi guys! Thanks for the warm welcome! Wow Its nice to know that theres actually quite a few of you out there lol 🙂 so nice to meet you! A pole jam in may sounds really cool. Also, if you're looking to do silks, I go to Cirque-Ability in Toronto, Heather Kentner is an Awsome Instructor! Lets definitly build a pole community in Toronto! xx

They have everything there also. Trapeze, aerial hoop, silks etc. I also have a membership at Aradia fitness Brampton. I might just join you guys and gals at the Night of Arabian class. I know Mike from our Aradia Christmas party. Lets all definitely have a pole jam. I'm away on vacation the last week of march and first week of april. But anytime around those times are good for me. I'm sure for a small fee each , we can use ARADIA Brampton studio at a historical building. It is huge, beautiful and has ten 11-12 foot 2 inch brass poles. 🌸 Sundays at 3.pm, They are finished with all the classes.Or sat afternoon-evening. Or if anyone else has any other suggestions for dates and times. Lets make this happen. 🤸 The USA polers are having all the fun with their competitions and pole jams. It's time for us to also have some fun. 🫡

If the Brampton Studio is free on Sundays after 3pm, I would like to propose a pole jam there on Sun Feb 28th. Keep the night open afterwards too, cuz I know my friends and I will be going out for eats and drinks after and everyone should come! 😀 By the way, what days or nights are the silks lessons at the circus school. I'd like to reserve a spot to try it out.

Business occasionally takes me down to Hamilton. I would definitely be up for attending a pole jam in the GTA if one coincides with my trips! Saturdays would work better than Sundays for me, but there's not much point scheduling them around my preferences since I'm not a local. LOL! =)

OK. I'm gonna talk to JOCIE the owner of Aradia brampton studio tom at my class. Lets go for SUN, FEB 28 3PM TO 6PM. If it goes well, we can do pole jams on a regular basis. Brampton is good cuz people from west, east and south ontario can go. I'll get back to everyone tom night. lets make this happen. 🤸 🫡 🤸

OK girls and guys, the date is set for our 1st SV Ontario Pole Jam. 🥂 SUN , FEB, 28 at 3PM TO 6PM at Aradia Fitness Brampton studio. 57 MILL STREET NORTH, suite 210, Brampton, Ontario.The studio is a historical building called The Old Shoe Factory.The studio is large, spacious, beautiful hardwood floor with ten 11-12 foot brass poles. The fee is $20 each for the 3 hours of studio time. Pole practice there is usually 15 dollars an hour, so 20 dollars is reasonable for 3 hours of blissful poling with great friends. We should also each bring some kind of munchie/finger food, so we have a potluck table to refuel between poling. If it goes well, we can have a pole jam on a regular basis. I'm gonna start another post on the pole jam/competition forum. Please let us know if you plan on joining us on all the fun. Maybe, some of you can carpool if you are from out of town. Any questions, don't hesitate to email me. Can't wait to meet everyone, Joni

Yay, an Ontario pole jam! Unfortunately, I can't make it to this one, but perhaps there'll be more in the future. =) I hate to put a request like this out to the public, but I was wondering if there's anybody in the Hamilton / Burlington area that has a couch I could crash on this weekend. Or even somewhere slightly further afield (but closer than Ottawa). =P I just found out I need to attend a meeting down there this weekend, but I'm also signed up for an online workshop with Alethea on Sunday that I don't want to miss! >< Whoever hosts me is definitely welcome to watch the workshop with me! *dangles carrot* LOL! Well, I found a random university student to stay with... yay, couchsurfing! I just hope she doesn't mind me practicing floorwork in the middle of her living room. =P I hope you all have a great time at the pole jam! 🥂
