Hello from Australia via Minneapolis

Hi there, I've been a bit of a lurker for a while now, since I was learning to pole whilst at university in Brisbane (I'm Australian). I've recently come to Minneapolis on a Student Exchange though, and I was hoping to meet some fellow poler's in the area. If anyone had any tips on places to pole or studios in the area, I'd appreciate it. 🙂 I'm also going to be travelling down to Chicago quite a lot while I'm here (for many nerd-related reasons) but if there were any events or people that just wanted to meet up and chat or teach, feel free to send me a message. Welcome! I am in the Minneapolis area, too! I am going to be starting classes at Flex Appeal Studios which is right off 3rd & Washington. You can check them out at: http://www.poledancingminneapolis.com/index.html onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; But yesterday I took a Pole Tricks class at a studio in Eagan called Bodyblast. But they only have a "Level 1 Pole Tricks" class, so there's nothing to advance to once you master the tricks taught in Level 1 or if you're already past that level.

I'm in Minneapolis too!! (Well, technically St. Paul.) I'm a big fan of Bodyblast. I just never have the time to get out there, so it's mostly pole at home for me.

Sadly I don't own a pole yet, but I doubt I could have shipped it all the way from Australia. My room would be too small to accommodate it anyway, I fear. I know St Paul isn't all that far from Minneapolis. Is there anything out there I should be visiting while I'm here? 🙂

I LIVE IN MINNEAPOLIS!!!!!! There a few studioveena gals here in the city. There are some bars that have poles and we go out from time to time and show them how its done. HEHE One of my favorite places to hang out is in the city an area called "uptown" its very hip and has tons of resterants and cool shops. There is an exotic dancer store called "Venus" in uptown that has shoes and fun pole dance wear. There is also a State Fair going on at the moment, its a fun experience. You can see live stock, carnival rides, concerts and eat lots of fatty foods. LOL Send me a private message if you would like to meet up sometime or if you have any questions. That's fantastic, I didn't know that! I'll definitely have to take your words on board then and check out Uptown. Thanks! 😀 I'm definitely going to try and get out to the State Fair though. I'm sure its bound to be loads of fun 🙂

Also here in the Twin Cities/Western WI. I"m always game to plan the party DT with pole bars. Also Halloween Party Oct 29th at my new place in WI. There will be poles....
