Hello - Another Newbie from FL

This is the best thing ever!!! I have had four or five lessons so far, but I have been totally hooked from day one! 😀 I have never posted on a website, but I think this is the place for me! I would LOVE 🥂 any help or suggestions that anyone has to offer. I just bought a video camera and hope to post a video soon! I still feel like a dork, but seeing everyone else do it, even if they are new has been such an inspiration.

LMAO at all of us dorks! I am quite a newbie too so deffinately won't be posting any vids just yet! Not until I've achieved less dorkiness! 🙂 -x-

Looks like we've got our own little beginners circle going 😀 Let's keep encouraging each other to get that first vid up...I plan on purposefully showing a few failures in hopes someone else can better see what I'm doing wrong. (probably lots of things 😂 )

I won't have a pole at home until my bday in 5 weeks (I'm soooooo excited!!) so I've got a good 5 weeks of practise until I have no more excuses to post a vid! Lol. I think I will be the same though - looking for constructive criticism to help us get better 🙂 I'm taking my camera to pole lesson tonight! -x-

Thanks again for all the support! This is going to sound absolutely horrible, but I think it is very important to be able to laugh at yourself when you make mistakes like this: I have my pole set up in a gameroom at my house. Last weekend after a couple of drinks (maybe more than a couple!) My husband suggested I show him some of my moves. So I proceeded to do my thing and considering I am new I know some cool spins & moves. All was going well until......................I decided to do a handstand and I went up and missed the pole entirely with my legs - and fell flat on my back 😂 Although it was quite entertaining, I had quite a bruise on my backside the next morning - very sexy 😳 So I am definitely not proud of what happened but if I can help any other newbie from making the same mistake it is worth it! DON"T DRINK AND POLE!

Hahaha, I can't even walk properly as it is, if I drink and pole I'll break my neck. 😂

LMAO! Ooops! I will try and take your advice - however - I am one of these people who only learn from THEIR OWN mistakes lol so you can guarantee that one day I will fall into the same trap of drink and pole! When that day arrives I will come back on here and admit that YES you were right and I should have listened lol. 😂 -x-
