Having issues with the original Xpole

So I have always preferred spinny on my xpole.... Today however, I put it into static cuz I wanted to work inverts etc without losing my spatial awareness cuz the pole started to spin. I lined up my hex thingy's with the X on both sides of the base. Great. It was fine. Stayed put. UNTIL I actually went to spin on it. It lets itself out of static mode. Does this mean the hex's are stripped? I have barely used it in static mode and I have had it for 2 years...........I hope that it isn't stripped.........It certainly won't be because of over use~~ I know..........I should have probably always had it in static when I was first learning, but I originally learned on spiiny poles that didn't have the option to make them static, so I just kind of got used to it..... Any suggestions? Does anyone know if we can buy replacement parts for the original Xpole...... Thanks reenie
