Having beams put in

Has anyone had any experience having a contractor put in lower beams in there studio? I'm looking to open a studio in the Richmondhill/Markham area north of Toronto and I'm having trouble finding locations that have the 10-12ft ceiling height suggested by x pole. Most of hte locations have ceiling heights of 16-18ft.   How much did it cost you? Does it mean I must use the ceiling mounts? Do you have the contractor put in the ceiling mounts and poles as well? What exactly did you ask for?
