Have you ever dreamed about poling?

I know this shouldn't be uncommon, but I dreamed about poling. I had two poles in my room and I was able to lift myself on the pole without effort. Lol. My niece was on the second pole (that I don't own yet. Lol) just playing. I am really hoping this means that I will be advancing in moves and to not get discouraged. I love poling, even if I just swing around in circles. I have heard, if you can see it, it is yours. So I am believing that very soon I will be up my pole doing some major moves, and even another pole. :-) Anyone else dream of poling? Please share. (^_^)

Keep working the power of visualization along with your practices and you'll have great results! I have dreamt about poling but in my dream my pole tore a 3 foot by 2 foot chunk out of my ceiling drywall and I started to panic on how I would get it fixed. Would have much preferred the effortless dancing dream!

I have dreams about poling, usually when it's been a while since the last time I've danced- almost like my subconscious misses it just as my conscious does! My dreams tend to get some things wrong now and then, though. Such as, instead of a pole, I end up with a tree? Or something that's bent at a strange angle. It provides an interesting challenge, though! I've only had one "effortless dancing" dream, and it was awesome. I'm gonna get that kind of dancing one day!

Recently I've been dreaming of it a lot more, probably because I'm not allowed to do it. I'm always ridiculously flexible in my dreams, maybe that means I should stretch during this down time. 🙂 My boyfriend helped me put my pole back up last week, it's upsetting because I want to spin on it. Though at the same time it's making me more determined to heal well and practice more seriously than I did before.

I've had two pole dreams! I did the superman in one and yogini in the other, all cake. I haven't even tried the moves before I dream of doing them, and my dreams have been motivating me to try them. It's funny!

I guess a part of me "premonition-ed" that i would pole dance one day cause i use to have pole dance dreams long before the studio i go to was created. Although they were "strip-esk" related, i can still picture the place in detail to this day. Stage, pole, lights, people...all of it. Now i have maybe spots of pole oriented dreams. Like last night i dreamt i was in a hippie store and they had a pole. I asked a gothic-y looking guy why they never use it and he said he can only use for something {selling to?} about customers. Really weird. But yeah, its a lot better then my reoccurring dancer dreams. Haven't had the "go on stage and not no a damn thing" dream in a long while since pole.

Whenever I have a pole dream I feel weightless and such, but it's never not doing tricks I've never done before. It's always the same ones that I can do, but no one is watching me. I get frustrated at first, but then don't care because I'm poling for me.

Sort of...... I have actually been moving during dreaming! My husband says that recently I was "prancing" in my sleep, and I said out loud: "reach for the baseboards with your toes." I know he could not possibly have made that up, because that's a cue (word for word) that I use very often during class (I'm an Instructor). Haha!! He says once in my sleep I also said "make big, huge, lazy circles with your gorgeous hips." Again - spot on for a cue that I use. :)

Often :-p One time I dreamt of a "new" combo and wasn't sure whether it was even possible to do outside of a dream ... almost fell once trying to do and then just stopped trying. A few months later I saw Jenyne do it in a performance - so, obviously it is possible 😀

Just last night I dreamt I could do Superman, completely pain free, over and over again. I think I'm on this site too much...

I will admit, I am addicted to StudioVeena and poling. Everyone here are very supportive and encouraging, so it keeps me coming back. :-)

I dream about poling now and then...lately it was managing the Butterfly which I had been struggling with. And guess what?? A few weeks later I nailed it. Its your minds way of working stuff out. :)

I DAY-dream about poling when I'm trying to fall asleep so I can get up for work...cuz I'd rather be poling than going to bed!

I am the same way. I can't wait to get the basics down so I won't have to just dream about doing moves that are advanced. Lol. I stare at my pole every night with a desire to do something on it.

I actually just had a pole dream this past week! I was standing at the pole, and did some crazy standing split... looked up, realized what I was doing, how easy it was, and got all excited. I just kept doing it through the whole dream, then I woke up. :p I can't do the splits.

I actually just had a pole dream last night in which I did an iron X! It was so easy in my dream and I was so excited, but in real life I've never even attempted that move! A couple months ago I also dreamt about doing a shoulder mount.
