OMG! That is SO awful! I went through a major life meltdown at 33 with three kids and the father over the horizon, so I know the panicky, horrible feeling that's writhing around in your gut. 😢
A bit of advice from a mom who's had to start over (WAY over!); the best thing you can do for your kid's stress is to relieve your own. Tell yourself "right now, in this minute, I'm not going to worry. I'm going to do what I have to do to get out of this life ditch and then I'm going to enjoy my kid." I used to take my kids to the library because it was FREE (I had no money), and we could lose ourselves in stories and share our favourite books. Many lovely memories were created in that crisis. I emerged from the financial and emotional wreckage a stronger, happier person with a purpose in life, so it was all to the good. The beginning of that road was pretty hellish, though, I'm not going to lie. If you need to vent or have a shoulder to cry on, I'm here for you. Stay strong. 😉
