I cannot remember who posted it or where, but someone did a video showing the difference between a cartwheel and a handspring, but I cannot find it!! If anyone knows what I'm talking about, let me know! Thanks!

Karol did I believe. Look up Redke71 (I think) on youtube. I had learned that cartwheel was head forward, handspring was head back, however handspring has become synonymous with either way of mounting over the years.
Veena also has them in her advanced lessons.
I did see Veena has them. I thought the same thing regarding head direction. I was getting confused though since they were being interchanged. I still cannot find that other video though.

I don't know why so many use the term handspring for all mounts. The direction is different for the Cartwheel and Handspring. Here is one video I have showing both. I might have another but not sure... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sag8kwfYBmU
That works! Thanks Veena. Yeah I keep seeing the term TG handspring for a TG cartwheel mount and got totally confused.

Depending on your starting position the Twisted grip variation could be considered a cartwheel or handspring. Some start with the head looking down swinging the leg in a cartwheel motion, others start with the head and chest up so it would feel more like a handspring. Either way I do not suggest using the Twisted grip for mounts!!
That makes sense. I doubt I will ever try TG lifts. I'm already too accident prone. Don't need to make it worse.
