HALLOWEEN! Ideas, plans?

So it is that time of year when the kids go back to school and the summer season starts to die down. I know here in Germany we are already getting some of that cooler, crisper air that I love in Autumn. It is a bit early for some people but I start a good month or two before Halloween to plan decor and party ideas. Heck, sometimes it takes a couple of months to make a costume. I squealed when I saw those big bags of Trick Or Treat candy at my local commissary. Yay! 🤸 I love Halloween!!! 🥂 Anyways... what is everyone doing (or thinking of doing)? Costume ideas or plans? Dish out all your Halloween dirt here! 😀 😈 👽 🏴‍☠️ 😳 👸 🏛️ 🌸 🐷 💪 🦇 💪

I would love to go all out for Halloween but I would have no place to show off my stuff, lol. I don't really have a lot of friends here and the friends I do have aren't into 'having fun.' I usually take my kids trick-or-treating and pass out candy.... I know, BIG plans 😂 . I'd LOVE to hear what everyone else is doing though and see some tricked out costumes!!! 🦇

I love Halloween. I get all giddy hen I start seeing people hanging their decorations. I almost never decorate because my hubby is never home and I can't get a babysitter...otherwise my daughter would tear up everything (love her, but she's a baby NUT) I think We'll probably get dressed up even if there is no place to go. Halloween is the only day of the year when I can dress pretty slutty and no one cares LOL! N E ways can't wait!

I was just talking about Halloween this morning. This year will be different for us. When we do our normal Halloween thing,we normally go to the mueseum here, they give hay rides and give away oh so much candy, they have the haunted house, the works,we dress the kids up, in their favorite costumes and have fun. I may have a small party at my home this year, since it will be just me and the kiddos. I may have to find me a cute lil outfit.

We should do something for it here!!!! Think, think , think. 🤔 🤔 🤔 I see a Halloween themed CHALLENGE! 😀 -------------------------- My plans.... Have a day-time costume that is a bit toned down. Have some fantastic costume the kids will love for Trick-or-Treating time later. And then have my last costume for the rest of the night... something cool but comfy. I want to throw a Halloween party but my parties never seem to go as planned. Last year I had to do a "Day-After-Halloween" party and the kids tore up my place.... I was finding Nerds candies under my bed even 6 months after the party. 😲 Maybe I will rent out a hall or something and throw a bash. That would be fun. I'm going down to the basement to get my Halloween tote boxes out later today. ^_^

i love halloween! i am looking at several costumes already 😉 i really like one of the alice in wonderland "magic mushroom" costumes & also love one that is a sexy bank robber 😀 but i have like 7 that i am picking from so far, lol! a lot of the online stores are just now getting their 2009n costumes in so pretty much every time i look i find another one that i love! my parents always have a big costume party for halloween so i always start looking a few months ahead of time.

That would be so fun to have a halloween-themed challenge!! I'm NUTS about Halloween too, actually it's a huuuuge deal in my college town that lasts almost a whole week so I always have to make like 3 or 4 costumes! I love making my own costumes too and I probably spend way too much time on them haha.... a few years back I spent two months crafting a Princess Leia gold slave outfit, but it was well worth it! My boyfriend of the time, a total Star Wars geek, was happy about it 🙂 Just today I actually was thinking about what to be this year, hopefully something that I can move around in so I can make a fun costumed pole video!

lol already?? you know its still august.It is never too early! Muahahahahahaaaa! I like having a full month or two of Halloween and Autumn decor. If I don't do it early enough I feel like is passes by waaaay too fast. What I do is that I start off with generic Fall stuff and then move into more Halloween-specific items. And once Halloween is done I keep the Fall stuff around for Thanksgiving. And I love the winter holiday season too but if I start doing decor for that too soon I feel like I kill it. Wierd huh?

WOW everyone has great Halloween plans/ideas! I love this holiday the most. I want it to be my wedding day too and it falls on a Saturday this year...oh well. I will be at "Camp Eerie Emerson" with my son's cub scout troop. Every year all of the local packs; cubs, boy scouts, and venture crews camp in Idyllwild, CA and decorate their campsites and pass out candy. It's trick or treating in the woods in a safe environment. Some troops get really creative and have mazes and haunted houses. It's so much fun! After trick or treating they serve night time snacks while turning on a movie. We camp in our tents and they serve breakfast the following morning! Halloween theme challenge sounds like fun as do the posting of halloween profile pics!

I like Veruca's idea of Halloween profile pics.. What if we can make videos to Haloween music..you know that cheezy scary music people play for haloween or something...hmmm we could see if anyone can get creative with pumpkins, or we could go the obvious route and wear Haloween costumes to dance in. IDK.
