Grrrr. Xpert still spins even when screws are in!!!

I'm really irritated right now. My new xpert suddenly started jolting into spin mode when it's supposed to be in static. I discovered this the other day when I tried to do a reverse grab on my *supposed to be* static pole. It jolted and started spinning. Now I can't get it to stay in static. I have thought I fixed it, but then the next time I go into a spin, I'm almost thrown off by the pole once again jolting into spin mode! Anyone know what is going on? Does it have something to do with how I put it up? Please help. 🙁

are you making sure the screws are perfectly lined up with the x's? i'd unscrew that portion and see whats going on down there if you have it all lined up right

my husband took it down and put it back up today, and the problem is fixed. He doesn't know what happened, or what he did to fix it, but problem solved! Thanks

I'm glad it's fixed. I'm so scared to get an xpole. I hear/read so many issues others have had. Although, if I get one it won't be spin/static, just static. But glad yours is okay!!!

hooked, others have had problems, but x pole designed a new bottom loading pole that supposedly eliminated the previous problems of stuck parts. They have fantastic customer service, you talk to actual humans right away when you call. I think that we somehow put it together strangely when we got the new parts and thats why it was still spinny. ever since putting it back up, it's been perfect again.
