Group Stretching Session (Skype/Veena chat) - Europe

Hi guys, this is just an off-shoot of the main 'Group Skype Stretching Session'. It seems most people who replied to that thread are based in the US, so it might be difficult matching up time zones for those of us across the pond! So this is a group for all you UK/European polers =) If anyone is interested in having a group stretch/flex session on Veena chat (or Skype) then comment below and we will find a time which suits everyone =) I am an office monkey during the day haa, so I can do evenings or weekends (or possibly the odd lunch break!!)

Hi PoleKat - I'm also an office monkey by day... by night, a dynamic czar of the underworld! ;) I work Sunday - Thursday, so I can do those evenings or Fri-Sat, anytime...

i like it!! ok sounds good =) i'll be honest, i have no idea how we do it exactly, i was hoping someone else could advise structure or something.... ive never done a group skype anything! =) i know a few good stretches i do after i workout, but i tend to follow a video if im doing a proper stretch session, i guess we could maybe start with that? theres a few i like on youtube and we could do veena's ones on here too =) or im happy to do it any other way if you have some ideas?

Me too, although possibly only at weekends at the moment. But in a few weeks time I could do evenings too or even early mornings :)

i could do tomorrow (thurs) late evening after my pole class? friday probably not, saturday maybe early afternoon, sunday maybe evening - do any of these suit ..? =) xox

great ! i have just added world times for Germany and Israel to my work computer desktop hehe so Germany is 1hr ahead of UK and Israel is 2hrs ahead, right now i think it should be : UK 11.20am GER 12.20pm ISR 1.21pm that's not too bad, should be work-able i think!! =) xoxox

Are you still open to having people join your skype stretching session? I'm in the United States, but would love to join a skype stretching group...it would keep me motivated to keep at it Let me know...only thing is I'm a guy, so not sure if you all are comfortable with that...I'm free most nights as well... yes definitely! funny i was just thinking about this thread yesterday ....! we haven't had a group session yet haaha =P sorry i have been so slack everyone, i am rubbish at organising these sorts of things!! i am up for trying this week if anyone else is? i could probably do any weekday evening (various times) - or maybe sunday late afternoon/evening... xox

Just let us know what time...I'm free every day except Tuesday and Friday...and I think you guys are like 6 hours ahead of me, so hopefully you can schedule the session later in the night :)

Late session works good for me, but I am up early for work so midnight would be the latest I'd say I could finish. Forgot I have plans this Thurs so I could do tonight(mon), tues, wed, Fri or maybe sun evening this week. Oooh I will have to check ! I had some issues with Skype a few years ago so I don't know if my account is still active... but I think we could also use the chat on here?

yes don't think skype likes me... i now have 3 accounts including 1 brand new one and it wont let me log in to any of them haa! so i think it will have to be the chat on here for me. but that could work 'cos we could send out a message just before we start and if anyone else is online they could join in too =)

How exactly do we video chat on this thing? And are you sure you are comfortable with me joining? Just a reminder that I'm a guy (22 years old), not a pole dancer, but I do like doing gymnastics/acrobatics and I love to stretch :)

im cool with it if it doesnt bother anyone else =) excellent you can show us some good stretches hehe!! As for video chat on here, I haven't used it before but it seems pretty simple, there should be a speech bubble bottom right corner somewhere, you click that and go to Chatrooms, then by the looks of it you can either join an existing chat or make a new one, then just start a video conversation from there, and I think other people can just click to join the chat =)

No problem at all! I'm on my phone too, and not sure how to get the video chat working either lol (though I do have my laptop)...maybe an other night it will work out :)
