Grip problem

I have a problem with my pole, I bought it 2 months ago and I can not climb over ou grip, I always slip down. Yet in my course, I have no problem to climb. There seems to be a coating of oil on my pole. I tried to wash it with Windex, pure alcohol but it did not work. Even the dry hand (on the pole and my hands) does not fit it, after 2 climbs, the dry hand (on the pole) disappear. Have you something to help me make my pole could not slip much? thanks a lot, and sorry for my poor english, It is not my first language I used Google translate lol

Make sure you do a good warm up for your body before you start dancing. Warm skin will grip the pole best. Also try steaming your pole to get the grease off. Here is a video on how to do it. v,if we dont have a steamer do you have any other suggestions that may help? i know they may not work as well but anything to help so i dont keep having to wipe would be awesome...

when my pole is cold I use my hairdryer to warm it up - I have found this works really well, when I have the dry skin cold pole problem

I always have problems sticking due to dry skin (even if a warm room after a warmup), and is hands down the best grip I have tried for that purpose (just don't use it on your hands if they tend to get sweaty) :)
