Girls, I have never used any gripping lotions, do you recommend them or is better to pole without them? In case you think the use of gripping lotions is better which one do you recommend? @Veena I'd like to know your opinion if possible. Thanks

I think if you need them, use them. I think its silly how some are quick to tell others not to use something that will help keep them safe. its not cheating. even professional olympic gymnasts use rosin and chalk and grip aids. and they arent even holding onto a slick metal pole while they perform. their surfaces are slightly grippier than slick chrome but even they need things for sweaty hands, etc. what grip aids you use depends on what issues you are having and your skin type. are you too sweaty and slippery? or is your skin too dry and you just cant grip? is your body or your hands or both. are you not warmed up enough to grip? do you just have impossibly cold weather you are trying to pole in or extremely hot and humid? all these things will help to decide what may work best for you. :) more info and it will be easier to make good suggestions for you.
I personally use gloves. I wouldn't be where I am today without them and certainty wouldn't be able to do the dangerous tricks without gloves. For me its about safety and if its the only way I'm going to be safe and the only way I can enjoy pole then I do it. Yes there are some moves you can't do in gloves but what you can do far outweighs the negatives and I progress faster using them. Absolutely use grip aids if it helps. Sometimes you can't progress without them. I have yet to find more that three people who use gloves so give a shout out if you do.

Don't buy something just because it's market for pole! If you NEED help with grip either do to sweat or cold dry skin you'll need different products. I don't sweat much and use lubriderm as my lotion after bath or shower, I do NOT use any lotion right before poling or the pole will become greasy! https://www.lubriderm.com/products/advanced-therapy-lotion If I need a grip aid because my pole is cold or I'm feeling cold and dry I use mighty grip with few point https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jgvvc2uvcFw If you're sweaty use a product that acts to keep you dry. I'm less familiar with these as I don't sweat much. But you don't have to use anything if you feel secure in your grip! Some people are lucky and their pole finish matches well their skin. 💜
True dat! Only use it if you need it. If you're fine how you are then don't worry about them.
Thank You girls for the info, I think my problem is more about slippery and a little sweaty hands and body, when I use legs to hang I don't have so much problem but with the hand gripping for example at the split grip, my hands slip, so I feel I'm getting stocked :( I don't think my problem is either about strength, but this slippery is stopping me from advance. Any ideas???
I have super sweaty hands . If you have sweaty hands this might work for you: I use tight grip 1. I start using it 30-60 minutes before poling. Like maybe I will start using it an hour before I pole and reapply 30 minutes before I pole, then right before I pole . This stops the sweat glands temporarily for the most part . Then I use dry hands while I pole because they are too slick . Dry but slick with just tite grip. For me it has to be the combo . My hands are super sweaty . If you're not that bad you may only need the tite grip 30 minutes before poling , then dry hands while you pole. In the summer if my body is super sweaty I use dry body wipes once a week - but they don't really work on my hands. My hands are hard to control even with prescription anti perspirant. The tite grip / dry hands combo has been the best for me. I tried dirty girl poletice and it works ok for my body and feet but doesn't do much for my hands . Mighty grip gloves work but mine kept ripping which sucks because I really liked them. I went through a pair a month . Mighty grip didn't do crap for my hands but make them slick and slippery . Itac is not for sweaty anything. Dew point is also not for sweaty . Prescription antiperspirant drysol would work if inside sure to use it every night , but my hands would get so dry they were slick so I still needed dry hands for grip. Or the drysol just wouldn't work . It's a fine line between it working too well and not enough. There's my review for sweaty hands sweaty body products. Dry body wipes work so damn well on your body it's a shame it didn't do the same for my hands . But it was a lifesaver in the summer. :) again my problem is too much sweat.
Dry hands might be a good place to start if your hands are just a little sweaty
Thank you so much @Phoenix Hunter for the info, I think I will start with the dry hands, and maybe look for some gloves, I'm traveling to US this Thursday, so I will look for them at Amazon.
yeah, dry hands is good stuff for sweaty. its a good starting point and not pricey. a little goes a long way. and if you arent crazy sweaty, it might be all you need. the gloves are great too, just would rip after a few wears. they may have improved them by now though.

I agree with Phoenix that Tite Grip is amazing. For me it works better than dry hands as I still sweat and slide with it. But I've never tried the combination Phoenix recommended, will do it on my next pole class :)
Veeennnaa!! Thank yooouuu!! The video is spectacular! All those criteria apply to me. I have been using iTac. Where does one purchase DewPoint and Mighty Grip? I have a powder coated lil mynx and even have trouble sticking to that. Cold hands, cold climate, don't sweat. Even in the summer I only sweat a little.
