Some of you know I was talking about changing clubs due to the troubles I was having at my current club with all the girls looking like barbies and the high tip outs/house fees...I met a girl on Stripperweb who saw my posts about my club over there and told me she would get me a job at the club she worked at. This is the club I originally wanted to work at but only hires through amateur night so I was excited when I found out I had a connection to get my foot in the door. This place is also much bigger, much nicer, and actually has alchohol unlike my last weird club. I met the girl who I had been emailing and she took me into the office and introduced me to the manager who had me audition with the entertainment director...I did my audition and she told me I was great on stage but I "needed to tone up" before she could hire me, but she really wanted me to come back after I lost some weight. I was trying not to cry in front of her, but it was super embarrassing π The most upsetting thing was that a lot of the dancers were not skinny and didn't have pretty faces either, so they have a handful of unattractive bigger girls dancing for them which is fine but they still wouldn't hire me. I had planned on working that night so I didn't have any plans and all my friends were already out so I ended up spending saturday night home alone crying because I'm overweight. Horribly depressing, I am pathetic π She gave me her card and told me to lose some weight and come back in a month, she was friendly about it and even asked if I had another job and told me not to forget to call her. I think she thinks I would do well there if I lost weight so I can't decide if I should lose the weight and go back, or say screw them and look for another club, but all the other clubs in Chicago are a pretty far drive from me and have high tip outs. I had been wanting to lose weight anyway because everyone around here knows I'm the chubby girl so I think I felt worse since I'm already sensitive about my weight. But I do eat super healthy and I work out 5 days a week (running/lifting/pole) so I'm not sure what I can change to lose weight except for eating less food and working out for longer. I think I'm going to have to start counting my calories really strictly and working out for longer. Now I just feel horrible and fat and rejected, boo π’ π’ π’
