It does look neat, and not to be picky or anything, but that's actually a round-off... with a cartwheel you keep your legs apart and land one foot at a time, just like a real cartwheel... I've seen several other people make the mistake, too. I haven't tried it, but it's on my list! 😀

Well I guess if we were talking about gymnastics...then yes that would be a round off. But its coming off the cartwheel mount so, that's why its call a full cartwheel. We just aren't that technical in pole yet, I guess. LOL. I am able to do this move. I will post it sometime...I kind of forget about it because I like to practice in heels, and will as you would guess, not a safe move to work on in heels! 😲 Your gonna need to be extremely comfortable with your cartwheel mount, and also being able to do a jack knife is very helpful and I would recommend having those two moves down solid, before attempting the full cartwheel. 🌸

Lol yeah sorry... I felt like a real b*tch after posting that, and I thought about changing it but someone already read it! Oh well, it's just one of those things that makes my eye twitch a bit when I see it, that's all. 😳

Oh, I totally understand what your saying.....there is a lot of names for moves that I look at and think hmmmm thats not what I would call it. LOL It wasn't bitchy, just means you've got a good eye 🧿

Haha yes, i know what a round-off is... I was in gymnastics.
The one on the first vid I don't particularly like as it's not the neatest of moves. I prefer the version Riley does at 25 secs on this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2bMrMrAX1c&feature=channel_page She's been tryin to teach me how to do this one, apparently the top hand isn't fully gripped, it's more there to guide and push against the pole on the way over

Yes awesome....THAT is a true full cartwheel....I don't know why everyone calls the other one a full cartwheel! Thanks Lola 🥂 perfect example. All in favor of Round off and Cartwheel being 2 different moves say eye 🧿 get it eye. LOL

I AM SOOOOO MAD! So I'm sitting here on the couch and thought hey, I'll try that cartwheel thing...So I got off my butt, got the video cam and wanted to record my FIRST attempts. so I manage to figure out how to do the full cartwheel, BUT IT DIDN'T RECORD! 😈 😈 🙄 So I did it again but its not the true first attempts, I could cry, 😢 I'm mad, 😠 I never get my first attempts on vid!! I don't know if I'll post it cuz its not really the first attempt but I did fall once LOL. I HATE TECHNOLOGY. I'll defentily be doing a vid on the differences between the two (cartwheel/roundoff) for youtube at some point to help spread the word.

I don't know why, but I'm like super excited about this whole round-off, cartwheel difference thing... lol! 😂 Oh go ahead and post it, Veena, you could call it the first attempts caught on tape 😜 But yeah, I hate technology too... my camera runs out of memory or battery dies without warning, so there's been several times I've been dancing and gone over to find out the camera shut off 5 minutes ago! Then I have to scramble to find new batteries or whatever... But I'd love to see it, true first attempts or not! 🥂

Oh the good thing is with the new video cam I can upload vids the same day I do them..bad news is I don't know how to use it very well yet...Just watch the vid and you'll see....We had been talking about this full cartwheel thing, and I wanted to try it, I should have warmed up, I literally just got off the couch and gave it a try.
