From miami to decatur,IL

In the past pole dancing was a means to pay for college until I fell in love with a man and got pregnant and as i turned around he was gone. I moved to Decatur,IL and if you have ever been here they literally stone dancers and its depressing because no matter how hard life gets i always had the pole to use for therapy i would dance and swing and move for hours and I really miss the workout. It's not only a workout its therapy when I came across this website I was hoping you had a location here Sincerely missing the Pole.

And if you're desperate, there's definitely pole in Champaign. I know a really good instructor in Danville, but that's quite a drive. Then there's this- but I'm pretty sure poledanceromance lives in the Chicago area now. Well welcome to a world of welcoming non-judgemental ladies and gents! You are home here! Look Mamma, don't let anyone make you feel bad about any decision that builds you up! YOU are doing what is right for you and for someone to "throw the stones" at you only means that they are not educated on the subject. Keep your head high, and don't worry about the haters! PS I'm in Miami now and I know what a paradise it is. I only hope you can find some happiness where you are now. Hopefully your posts here will connect you w/ other polers in your area.

I did live in Decatur for several years and taught pole there for a while. But I moved back to Chicago last year to go back to school. I used to drive to Michelle Mynx's studio in St. Louis as korinne said...I HIGHLY suggest you do that when you can. I also agree that champaign might be a good option, as I believe they do have some workshops/public stuff. I don't know any instructors in Decatur right now. But a few of my former students still live there and I might be able to connect you with them. I'm Anna May on Facebook, if you want to add me there.
