First pole practice in a long time...

... and I got a new move. Sorta. I managed to hold a knee hold for a couple seconds, no hands, but I had to grab the pole with my hands again because I was loosing my leg grip. However, it didn't hurt. But of course, when I go to get my camera to take a picture, it hurts like a b*tch because the timer on the camera is only 10 seconds, which wasn't enough time for me to get into the right position. So no picture, but I'll surely have a bruise on my knee tomorrow. (well, several bruises - from a few failed attempts and misplacements) But I'm encouraged because I was playing around, just seeing what I can and can't still do and I apparently haven't lost any moves. I can still do a shoulder mount, so that makes me happy, but everything is sloppy and I've obviously lost some strength. But I refuse to complain. ๐ Oh, and for those of you who have been wondering where the heck I've been, check out my SV blog - I've been posting updates there every couple... er, months or so. Things have been rough, but I've missed you all and pole and I think about you often. I still have yet to find another community that has even half of the supportiveness the pole community has. <3
