I was wondering if anyone knows about this studio and/or has taken classes here. My Mom lives about 20 minutes from Ocala in Morriston, and when I come home to visit I would like to take some classes here and possibly have a private lesson with my Mom and sisters. The owner of this studio has contacted me about helping her learn more advanced moves to teach the students. She has had a lot of drama going on with her daughter recently and has not contacted me since. The owner told me that she had her poles made by a welder and that they are not Platinum Stages or X Pole Brand. I have not been there to see how the poles are myself, but I am always a little weary about poles not purchased from a reputable seller. You're welcome! Yes I am originally from Gainesville! Maybe we went to the same schools? I went to Lincoln Middle and Gainesville High, then 2 years at SFCC and 2 years at UF, graduated in 2005. GO GATORS! =]
Well, different side of town. I went to Ft. Clarke and Buchholz High Class of '99, then I did dual enrollment at SFCC while still in high school and a few prerequisite classes after high school before moving to Colorado. I met my hubby at SFCC and his parents still live and work in G'ville. My Mom moved out to Williston/Morriston when I was a senior in high school. Such a small world, huh?! 😀
Cherry, I live in Bushnell. Can you by any chance give me some more information on this studio I would like to check it out. Might give me some where that I can go once in while to be able to mingle with more polers. So I'm not always stuck at home by my self poling alone. Keep me excied and working hard!!! Yes, that's what the studio is called. I found it by just doing a search on Yahoo for pole dance studios in Ocala. I would definitely do your research and ask tons of questions when you call. As GatorGirl mentioned, their poles are not purchased from a reputable company but rather made by a local welder (nothing wrong with that but be sure to ask about the material and be cautious) I do not know anything about this studio other than what I have read on the website and the info from GatorGirl.
