So.. I hate carpet, and while I'm renting I'm stuck with carpet, carpet burns and floor work looking goofy, carpet makes it hard to slide ever. Is there any solution to carpet? I am at a loss, I end up putting duct tape of the bottom of my shoes so they don't stick, and I'm not quite sure duct taping myself will work lol . Any ideas?

you can get carpet protector sheets on rolls-cut a slit and a hole in middle for your pole. I did this once and did it with mats too. I even use matts over my wood floor, because my knees are bad.
